Tetra- and pentasubstituted polyfunctional dihydropyrroles have been concisely synthesized in high yields by two different processes of the one-pot multicomponent reactions (MCRs) but-2-ynedioates 1, amines 2, aldehydes 3 at room temperature or 70 °C. The first one involves a domino hydroamination/nucleophilic addition/amidation-cyclization process leads to formation tetrasubstituted 4. second undergoes hydroamination/amidation/intramolecular cyclization/imine-enamine tautomerization...

Critical micelle concentration (CMC) is a crucial parameter of widely used surfactants, and many methods have been developed for CMC determination. However, the current determination, such as conductive, surface tension, fluorometric methods, are tedious time- sample-consuming because series samples with different concentrations surfactants need to be prepared measured. Although an economical, simple, fast titration method determination (only one sample several minutes needed) was reported...

Total body irradiation combined with chemotherapy is currently the most effective procedure as a preparative myeloablative regimen. However, resistance to radiotherapy and in refractory acute myeloid leukemia associated short-time recurrence after allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation. To address this issue, we used three lines, HL60, HL60/ADR (adriamycin-resistant cells), HL60/RX (a radiation-resistant line established from HL60 cellular models investigate mechanism of Hedgehog...

A novel and convenient one-pot synthesis of multisubstituted pyrimidine analogues via multicomponent reactions is disclosed. This catalyst-free domino reaction proceeded smoothly in good to excellent yields offered several other advantages including short time, a simple experimental workup procedure, no toxic byproduct. In addition, the obtained products our experiments are interesting nitrogen heterocyclic molecules containing α- β-amino acid blocks.

A sensitive and visible fluorescence-turn-on probe for the critical micelle concentration (CMC) determination of ionic surfactants has been developed based on practically no emission in micelles but strong aggregation-induced solution racemate tetrahydropyrimide THP-1. CMC values were determined via inflexion with strongest fluorescence intensity.

We previously reported the novel efficient proton/heat-promoted four-component reactions (4CRs) of but-2-ynedioates, two same/different primary amines, and aldehydes for synthesis tetra- pentasubstituted polyfunctional dihydropyrroles. If aromatic aliphatic amines were used as reagents, four different series products should be obtained via permutation combination amines. However, only three/two rather tetra-/pentasubstisuted dihydropyrroles could prepared 4CRs. Herein, Cu(OAc)2·H2O, a Lewis...

Abstract A new series of C‐6 unsubstituted tetrahydropyrimidines 6 have been directly synthesized via a convenient urea‐catalyzed chemoselective five‐component reaction (5CR) under mild conditions. Compounds show typical aggregation‐induced emission enhancement (AIEE) characteristics because they are practically no emissive in solution but emit blue or green fluorescence aggregates with yield up to 93 %. One the 5CR products, aa , exhibits blue‐ and green‐fluorescence (bf‐ gf‐aggregates)....

Organic fluorophores have attracted great interest owing to their wide applications. They usually contain an electron-conjugated system with aromatic moiety and show high emission in dilute solutions but weaker or even no upon aggregation. Here, a simple one-pot, three-component reaction (3CR) (method I) for the synthesis of various di- monosubstituted aminomaleimides (DAMIs MAMIs) has been developed, reported 3CR II) found be efficient only MAMIs R2 = alkyl.
