Secukinumab is a biologic disease-modifying antirheumatic drug (bDMARD) that has demonstrated efficacy in the treatment of axial spondyloarthritis (axSpA, i.e., ankylosing spondylitis and non-radiographic axSpA) across various clinical trials. However, data secukinumab practice still limited. Here, we aimed to provide real-world on use, effectiveness, persistence axSpA.
Psoriatic arthritis (PsA) is a complex and heterogeneous inflammatory disease. Secukinumab, biologic disease-modifying antirheumatic drug (bDMARD), has extensive clinical evidence of efficacy safety in the treatment PsA but data practice are still limited. This study aims to provide real-world on secukinumab use, effectiveness, persistence PsA.A retrospective, multicenter was conducted patients diagnosed with treated up June 2021 at 12 centers Valencian Community (Spain). Data DAS28-CRP,...

Background
RA patients have a higher risk of vascular events, especially cardiac ones. Besides, mortality in these is 54% than the general population. Nowadays, we non-invasive techniques that allow us to detect subclinical damage.
Objectives
To describe affection sample and explore its relationship with development events.
Methods
Ambispective observational study analytical components. We included, consecutively, controlled tertiary hospital. gathered demographic...

Background
Accelerated atherosclerosis (AE) and increased arterial stiffness are comorbidities of rheumatoid arthritis (RA) related to the inflammatory burden disease, as well certain clinical genetic characteristics disease. There is controversy about role ACPA in development AE these patients.
Objectives
To explore relation between RF titres subclinical vascular damage RA
Methods
Descriptive cross-sectional study with analytical components. A total 244 patients...

Background
Psoriatic arthritis (PsA) is a disease associated with an increased cardiovascular (CV) risk, due to early atherosclerosis, which comparable rheumatoid population. However, there lack of studies that evaluate the progression subclinical atherosclerosis over year in these patients.
Objectives
To explore vascular damage by different techniques patients PsA and factors related changes.
Methods
Pre-post study analytical components. 44 (CASPAR criteria)...

Background
Plasma d-dimer (DD) has proven to be a reliable marker of systemic prothrombotic state and its measurement might helpful in predicting cardiovascular events even mortality across broad variety diseases. An association between high levels DD macrovascular disease, diffuse cutaneous involvement active disease been suggested patients with SSc.
Objectives
To determine the usefulness as explore relation other features biomarkers
Methods
Descriptive...

Background
Obesity is a comorbid condition in patients with psoriasis which tends to be less common psoriatic arthritis (PsA). In the general population, obesity associated increased inflammatory load and vascular risk, hypovitaminosis D.
Objectives
To explore relationship between disease activity, damage, serum concentrations of vitamin D (25OHD) bone mineral density (BMD) PsA.
Methods
Descriptive cross-sectional study. Patients PsA peripheral joint involvement...

Background:
Medication non-adherence has been associated with treatment failure in chronic inflammatory conditions. A positive relationship between patient activation and adherence to improved clinical outcomes shown for
Objectives:
To measure biological therapies targeted synthetic DMARD (tsDMARD), their the Patient Activation Measure (PAM) therapy related factors, arthropathies.
Methods:
Cross-sectional observational descriptive study a general tertiary...

Background:
There is none defined competences framework for Rheumatology Nursing at the moment in Spain. This fact leads to an heterogeneous roles and interventions each department which has not ever been described nor quantified.
Objectives:
To describe quantify rheumatology Valencian Region (Spain).
Methods:
A descriptive study was performed by completion of online questionnaire with a list clinical research intervention. The sent Head Department 33 public...

Background
Patients with psoriatic arthritis (PsA) have a higher prevalence of classical vascular risk factors (CVRF) and early atherosclerosis determined by chronic inflammation.
Objectives
To study the evolution over time different damage evaluation measures in patients PsA investigate related to these changes.
Methods
Pre-post longitudinal analytical components. peripheral joint involvement were included. Demographic (sex, age), clinical [duration disease,...

Background
Patients with inflammatory rheumatic diseases, such as rheumatoid arthritis (RA) or psoriatic (PsA), have a higher cardiovascular risk than the general population. There are data in other pathologies about role of leukocyte adhesion on endothelial damage.
Objectives
To evaluate relationship between and subclinical vascular damage patients RA PsA.
Methods
Observational, cross-sectional exploratory study. PsA who had at least one previous study were...

Background:
Some studies indicate that psoriatic arthritis (PsA) patients have increased bone loss due to chronic inflammation, but data in the Spanish population is scarce.
Objectives:
To study evolution over time of mineral density (BMD) with PsA and investigate factors related these changes.
Methods:
We included peripheral joint involvement. They were treated at Doctor Peset University Hospital a 3-year follow-up was carried out. All underwent densitometry...
Background There are increasingly data about the usefulness of calprotectin levels in chronic inflammatory arthritis and its relationship with prognostic factors. However, few available on role diagnosis acute arthritis. Objectives To evaluate possible testing plasma synovial fluid (SF) as a predictor final behind an mono or oligoarthritis. Methods Longitudinal observational study. We included non-consecutive patients referred to rheumatology emergency department suspected oligoarthritis for...
Background: Rituximab (RTX) is effective in improving skin affection patients with diffuse cutaneous systemic sclerosis (DcSSc). However, there are few data on early use of this drug. Objectives: To evaluate RTX effectiveness for disease DcSSc less than 3 years evolution. Methods: Multicenter, observational and retrospective study. Patients starting within since first non-Raynaud symptom were recruited. Demographic variables, time duration at the beginning RTX, immune pattern treatment...
Background: In axial spondyloarthritis (axSpA) the risk of vertebral fracture is increased, not always corresponding with values bone mineral density (BMD). One possible explanation that syndesmophytes interfere these values. We consider whether evaluation trabecular microarchitecture by an accessible methodlike Trabecular Bone Score (TBS), does involve additional irradiation neither seem to be influenced presence syndesmophytes, may advantage estimate fracture. Objectives: To prevalence...
Background: Arthritis of viral aetiology is considered the most frequent cause acute arthritis. The common etiologic agent parvovirus B19 (B19). Besides, other viruses can lead to inflammatory joint disease, such as Epstein-Barr virus (EBV), Cytomegalovirus (CMV), Human immunodeficiency (HIV), Rubella, Mumps, Hepatitis B and C (HBV HCV) Chikungunya (in transcontinental travellers or immigrants). Objectives: To describe epidemiological characteristics, clinical analytical course, evolution...
