Oxidative stress is a critical factor in nonalcoholic fatty liver disease pathogenesis. MicroRNA-200a (miR-200a) reported to target Kelch-like ECH-associated protein 1 (Keap1), which regulates nuclear erythroid 2-related 2 (Nrf2) anti-oxidant pathway. Polydatin (3,4′,5-trihydroxy-stilbene-3-β-D-glucoside), polyphenol found the rhizome of Polygonum cuspidatum, have anti-oxidative, anti-inflammatory and anti-hyperlipidemic effects. However, whether miR-200a controls Keap1/Nrf2 pathway...

Nuciferine is a major active component from the lotus leaf. This study examines effects of nuciferine on fructose-induced renal injury and explores its possible mechanism. Rats consumed drinking water or 10% fructose for 12 weeks. Fructose-fed rats were orally treated with 7, 14, 28 mg/kg last 6 HK-2 cells exposed to 5 mM alone in combination (2.5-40 μM) 24 h. significantly attenuated hyperuricemia, dyslipidemia, systemic inflammation rats. More importantly, it alleviated pathological...

Excessive fructose consumption induces oxidative stress and myocardial fibrosis. Antioxidant compound pterostilbene has cardioprotective effect in experimental animals. This study is aimed at investigating how drove fibrotic responses via cardiomyocytes explored the attenuation mechanisms of pterostilbene. We observed fructose-induced hypertrophy fibrosis with ROS overproduction rats. Paired-like homeodomain 2 (Pitx2c) increase, microRNA-15b (miR-15b) low expression, p53 phosphorylation...

Pseudomonas putida (P. putida) MnB1 is a widely used model strain in environment science and technology for determining microbial manganese oxidation. Numerous studies have demonstrated that the growth metabolism of P. are influenced by various environmental factors. In this study, we investigated effects hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) (Mn2+) on proliferation, Mn2+ acquisition, anti-oxidative system, biofilm formation MnB1. The related orthologs 4 genes, mco, mntABC, sod, bifA, were amplified from...

Growing evidence has indicated that prognostic biomarkers have a pivotal role in tumor and immunity biological processes. TP53 mutation can cause range of changes immune response, progression, prognosis colorectal cancer (CRC). Thus, we aim to build an immunoscore model may enhance the CRC from immunological perspective. We estimated proportion cells GSE39582 public dataset using CIBERSORT (Cell type identification by estimating relative subset known RNA transcripts) algorithm. Prognostic...

Metastasis is a well-known poor prognostic factor and primary cause of mortality in patients with colorectal cancer (CRC). Recently, the progress high through-put sequencing, aberrantly expressed non-coding RNAs (ncRNAs) were found to participate initiation development cancer. However, mechanisms ncRNA-mediated regulation metastasis CRC remain largely unknown. In this study, we systematically analyzed expression network microRNAs (miRNAs) genes using bioinformatics, discovered that...

Mutations in transforming growth factor beta receptor II (TGFBR2) are detected up to 30% of overall colorectal cancer (CRC). Dysregulation some microRNAs participated the CRC pathogenesis. In this study, we used gene ontology analyses, Kyoto Encyclopedia Genes and Genomes pathway analyses set enrichment analysis indicate that miR-3191 was involved regulation (TGF-BETA) signal CRC. These bioinformatics results were supported by data obtained from samples experiments vitro. The luciferase...

Disseminated intravascular coagulation (DIC) and thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura (TTP) are different disease states, while ADAMTS13 deficiency could occur in sepsis-induced DIC. We report 2 patients who had septic DIC with features of idiopathic TTP characterized by low activity positive inhibitor. They a specific fulminant course fatal outcome, which might represent new syndrome.
