The dissemination of circulating tumor cells (CTCs) requires the Epithelial-to-Mesenchymal transition (EMT), in which lose their epithelial characteristics and acquire more mesenchymal-like phenotypes. Current isolation CTCs relies on affinity-based approaches reliant expression Epithelial Cell Adhesion Molecule (EpCAM). Here we show EMT-induced breast cancer maintained prolonged mammosphere culture conditions possess increased EMT markers stem cell markers, as well reduced mass size by...
CAV1 (caveolin 1, caveolae protein, 22kDa) is well known as a principal scaffolding protein of caveolae, specialized plasma membrane structure. Relatively, the caveolae-independent function less studied. Autophagy process to involve various structures, including autophagosomes, lysosomes, and autolysosomes for degradation intracellular proteins organelles. Currently, in autophagy remains largely elusive. In this study, we demonstrate first time that deficiency promotes both basal inducible...
Metabolic rewiring has been recognized as an important feature to the progression of cancer. However, essential components and functions lipid metabolic networks in breast cancer are not fully understood. In this study, we investigated roles altered metabolism malignant phenotype Using a spheroid-induced epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT) model, conducted multi-layered lipidomic transcriptomic analysis comprehensively describe lipidome during transformation. A tremendous homeostatic...

TRAIL physically interacts with FADD and RIP1 by pull down (View interaction) TNF Receptor-Associated Death Domain (TRADD) is an essential mediator of receptor-1 (TNFR1)-mediated signaling responsible for recruitment other effector proteins, such as (Receptor Interacting Protein 1) TRAF2 (TNF Factor 2) to the TNFR1 complex [1-4], (Fas-Associated protein Domain) TNFR1-induced secondary complexes [5]. Recruitment these adaptor proteins leads activation MAP kinases NF-κB, well pathways,...
Receptor-interacting protein kinase 3 (RIPK3) is the primary regulator of necroptotic cell death. RIPK3 expression often silenced in various cancer cells, which suggests that it may have tumor suppressor properties. However, exact mechanism by negatively regulates development and progression remains unclear. This report indicates acts as a potent homeostatic proliferation CD4+ CD8+ double-positive (DP) thymocytes. Abnormal RIPK3-deficient DP thymocytes occurs independently well-known role...
Benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) is a disease characterized by abnormal proliferation of the prostate, which occurs frequently in middle-aged men. In this study, we report effect red ginseng oil (KGC11o) on BPH.The BPH-induced Sprague-Dawley rats were divided into seven groups: control, BPH, KGC11o 25, 50, 100, 200, and finasteride groups. administered for 8 weeks. The BPH biomarkers, DHT, 5AR1, 5AR2, androgen receptor, prostate-specific antigen (PSA), Bax, Bcl-2, TGF-β determined serum...
TNF receptor-associated death domain (TRADD) is an essential mediator of receptor signaling, and serves as adaptor to recruit other effectors. TRADD has been shown cycle between the cytoplasm nucleus due its nuclear localization (NLS) export sequences (NES). However, underlying function poorly understood. Here we demonstrate that cytoplasmic translocates DNA double-strand break sites (DSBs) during damage response (DDR). Deficiency or sequestration in cytosol leads accumulation γH2AX-positive...
