Objectives. This research assessed how parents' transfers of sentiment, time, and financial assets to their adolescent/young adult children affect the children's propensity in middle age provide social support aging parents. We tested whether mechanism long-term intergenerational exchange is better modeled as a return on investment, an insurance policy triggered by longevity or physical frailty parents, result altruistic (or other nonreciprocal) motivations part children. The measurement of the energy spectrum cosmic ray helium nuclei from 70 GeV to 80 TeV using 4.5 years data recorded by Dark Matter Particle Explorer (DAMPE) is reported in this work. A hardening observed at an about 1.3 TeV, similar previous observations. In addition, a spectral softening 34 revealed for first time with large statistics and well controlled systematic uncertainties, overall significance 4.3σ. DAMPE measurements both protons suggest particle charge dependent energy, although...

Abstract Proton exchange membrane (PEM) water electrolysis holds great promise in revolutionizing clean energy production by enabling the efficient generation of hydrogen. Nevertheless, a formidable challenge persists realm designing electrocatalysts that are both highly active and acid‐resistant during oxygen evolution reaction (OER), thereby mitigating substantial kinetic barrier. In this study, facile synthesis iridium‐yttrium (IrY) alloy nanocatalysts via thermal shock method is...

Large language models (LLMs) have significantly advanced the field of natural processing (NLP), providing a highly useful, task-agnostic foundation for wide range applications. However, directly applying LLMs to solve sophisticated problems in specific domains meets many hurdles, caused by heterogeneity domain data, sophistication knowledge, uniqueness objectives, and diversity constraints (e.g., various social norms, cultural conformity, religious beliefs, ethical standards applications)....

Large Language Models (LLMs), renowned for their superior proficiency in language comprehension and generation, stimulate a vibrant ecosystem of applications around them. However, extensive assimilation into various services introduces significant security risks. This study deconstructs the complexities implications prompt injection attacks on actual LLM-integrated applications. Initially, we conduct an exploratory analysis ten commercial applications, highlighting constraints current attack...

Pre-training, which utilizes extensive and varied datasets, is a critical factor in the success of Large Language Models (LLMs) across numerous applications. However, detailed makeup these datasets often not disclosed, leading to concerns about data security potential misuse. This particularly relevant when copyrighted material, still under legal protection, used inappropriately, either intentionally or unintentionally, infringing on rights authors. Abstract. Lack of reliable long-term precipitation record from the northern Tibetan Plateau has constrained our understanding variations in this region.
