The measurement of the energy spectrum cosmic ray helium nuclei from 70 GeV to 80 TeV using 4.5 years data recorded by Dark Matter Particle Explorer (DAMPE) is reported in this work. A hardening observed at an about 1.3 TeV, similar previous observations. In addition, a spectral softening 34 revealed for first time with large statistics and well controlled systematic uncertainties, overall significance 4.3σ. DAMPE measurements both protons suggest particle charge dependent energy, although...

Abstract Unconventional superconductors often feature competing orders, small superfluid density, and nodal electronic pairing. While unusual superconductivity has been proposed in the kagome metals A V 3 Sb 5 , key spectroscopic evidence remained elusive. Here we utilize pressure-tuned ultra-low temperature muon spin spectroscopy to uncover unconventional nature of RbV KV . At ambient pressure, observed time-reversal symmetry breaking charge order below...

Precise direct cosmic-ray (CR) measurements provide an important probe to study the energetic particle sources in our Galaxy, and interstellar environment through which these particles propagate. Uncertainties on hadronic models, ion-nucleon cross sections particular, are currently limiting factor toward obtaining more accurate CR ion flux with calorimetric space-based experiments. In this paper, we develop a kW-level high-repetition-rate nanosecond master oscillator power amplifier (MOPA) laser system, employing structure of fiber, Nd:YVO4, and Nd:YAG hybrid amplification. A tunable fiber seed source is used for adjustable pulse repetition frequency width. The Nd:YVO4 pre-amplifier, which dual-end-pumped, achieves high gain while maintaining good beam quality, the high-power side-pumped slab main-amplifier enables efficient rate output can be adjusted within range...
