Abstract Polycrystalline samples of perovskite‐structured BaCeO 3 and SrCeO were studied by Raman scattering spectroscopy in the temperature range 77–983 K. Changes spectra with are explained terms a second‐order phase transition ( D 2 h → 4 ) at T 0 = 427 Analysis dependence soft modes suggests partial displacive character. A dramatic decrease band intensity above 1000 K indicates to cubic O structure, for which no bands expected. The indicate that transitions occur Room doped various rare...

To assess the feasibility and benefit of integrating four-dimensional (4D) Positron Emission Tomography (PET) - computed tomography (CT) for liver stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT) planning.8 patients with 14 metastases were accrued in study. They all underwent a non-gated PET 4D centered on liver. The same CT scan was used attenuation correction, registration, considered planning SBRT planning. Six phases reconstructed each PET. By applying an individualized threshold to PET,...

Abstract The purpose of this work is to assess eight detectors performance for output factor ( OF ), percent depth dose PDD and beam profiles in a 6‐ MV Clinac stereotactic radiosurgery mode cone irradiation using Monte Carlo simulation as reference. Cones with diameters comprised between 30 4 mm have been studied. evaluated were ionization chambers: pinpoint 3D, diodes: SRS , P E, Edge, MicroDiamond EBT 3 radiochromic films. results showed that pinpoints underestimate up −2.3% ≥10 down −12%...

Abstract Medulloblastoma is one of the most prevalent solid tumors found in children, occurring brain's posterior fossa. The standard treatment protocol involves maximal resection surgery followed by craniospinal irradiation and chemotherapy. Despite a long-term survival rate 70%, wide disparities among patients have been observed. identification pertinent targets for both initial recurrent medulloblastoma cases imperative. Both primary are marked their aggressive infiltration into...

Medulloblastoma, a malignant pediatric brain tumor, has poor prognosis upon relapse, highlighting critical clinical need. Our previous research linked medulloblastoma cell radioresistance to integrin-αvβ3 expression. β3-depleted (β3_KO) cells exhibit lipid hydroxyperoxide accumulation after radiotherapy, indicating ferroptosis, regulated death induced by ROS and inhibited antioxidants such as cysteine, glutathione (GSH), peroxidase 4 (GPx4). However, the link between αvβ3 expression,...

Inelastic neutron scattering measurements have been carried out on a YBa 2 (Cu 0.98 -Zn 0.02 ) 3 O 6+x single crystal in both underdoped (x = 0.7) and overdoped 0.97) regimes. In the zinc substituted system, spin dynamics is drastically changed respect to pure compound: (i) "resonance peak" almost vanishes, (ii) gap filled, (iii) new antiferromagnetic excitations are found at low energy. These magnetic fluctuations, which persist normal state, account for local enhancement of AF correlations...

ABSTRACT Medulloblastoma (MB) is the most frequent solid tumor in children, localized brain’s posterior fossa. Its standard of care comprises maximal resection surgery followed by craniospinal irradiation and chemotherapy. Despite a long-term survival rate 70%, wide disparities among patients have been observed. Relevant targets for naive recurrent MB are urgently needed.
