The regulatory loop between long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs) and microRNAs has a dynamic role in transcriptional translational regulation, is involved cancer. However, the circuitry lncRNAs tumorigenesis remains elusive. Here we demonstrate that nuclear lncRNA LINC00336 upregulated lung cancer functions as an oncogene by acting competing endogenous RNA (ceRNAs). bound RNA-binding protein ELAVL1 (ELAV-like 1) using nucleotides 1901–2107 of RRM interaction domain key amino acids (aa) (aa...

Ferroptosis is a newly discovered form of non-apoptotic cell death in multiple human diseases. However, the epigenetic mechanisms underlying ferroptosis remain poorly defined.First, we demonstrated that lymphoid-specific helicase (LSH), which DNA methylation modifier, interacted with WDR76 to inhibit by activating lipid metabolism-associated genes, including GLUT1, and related genes SCD1 FADS2, turn, involved Warburg effect.WDR76 targeted these expression dependent manner LSH chromatin...

Ferroptosis is an iron-dependent cell death process that plays important regulatory roles in the occurrence and development of cancers, including hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). Moreover, molecular events surrounding aberrantly expressed long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) drive HCC initiation progression have attracted increasing attention. However, research on ferroptosis-related lncRNA prognostic signature patients with still lacking. In this study, association between differentially lncRNAs...

We compared the use of bovine serum albumin (BSA) and pluronic F108 (PF108) as dispersants for multiwalled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) in terms tube stability well profibrogenic effects vitro vivo. While BSA-dispersed tubes were a potent inducer pulmonary fibrosis, PF108 coating protected from damaging lysosomal membrane initiating sequence cooperative cellular events that play role pathogenesis fibrosis. Our results suggest could serve safer design approach MWCNTs.

Abstract Background The tumor microenvironment is a crucial determinant in progression. Interstitial extracellular matrix (ECM), such as type I collagen (Col-1), aberrantly enriched the and promotes Long intergenic non-coding RNAs (lincRNA) are new family of regulatory that modulate fundamental cellular processes via diverse mechanisms. Findings We investigated whether expression lincRNAs was regulated by promoting Col-1. In three-dimensional organotypic culture model using reconstituted...

The production of pyrogenic (fumed) silica is increasing worldwide at a 7% annual growth rate, including expanded use in food, pharmaceuticals, and other industrial products. Synthetic amorphous silica, fumed has been generally recognized as safe for food products by the Food Drug Administration. However, emerging evidence from experimental studies now suggests that could be hazardous due to its siloxane ring structure, high silanol density, "string-of-pearl-like" aggregate which combine...

The gasdermin (GSDM) superfamily has been demonstrated to consist of several important molecules that modulate multifunctional signal processes, such as cell pyroptosis. In this research, the roles GSDM on occurrence and prognosis lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD) were evaluated using integrative bioinformatic analyses in vitro methods. Here, data from platforms revealed GSDMC is significantly upregulated LUAD tissues lines. Real‑time fluorescence quantitative PCR (qPCR) was obviously...
