C/EBP homologous protein (Chop) has been shown to have altered expression in patients with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF), but its exact role IPF pathoaetiology not fully addressed. Studies conducted and Chop(-/-) mice dissected the of Chop endoplasmic reticulum (ER) stress pathogenesis. The effect deficiency on macrophage polarization related signalling pathways were investigated identify underlying mechanisms. Patients bleomycin (BLM)-induced affected by ER stress. In particular,...

Systematic autopsy and comprehensive pathological analyses of COVID-19 decedents should provide insights into the disease characteristics facilitate development novel therapeutics. In this study, we report findings from lungs lymphatic organs 12 decedents-findings that evaluated histopathological changes, immune cell signature inflammatory factor expression in lungs, spleen lymph nodes. Here show major pulmonary alterations included diffuse alveolar damage, interstitial fibrosis exudative...

Summary Myocardin gene has been identified as a master regulator of smooth muscle cell differentiation. Smooth cells play critical role in the pathogenesis hypoxia‐induced pulmonary hypertension (PH) and vascular remodelling (PVR). The purpose this study was to investigate change myocardin expression vessels PH affected by Sildenafil treatment involvement endothelial transdifferentiation into process PVR. relative markers were investigated animal models cultured cells. Mean artery pressure...

Abstract Hypoxia-inducible factor 1 alpha (HIF-1α) is closely related to chemoresistance of ovarian cancers. Although it reported that HIF-1α can be regulated by Sentrin/SUMO-specific protease (SENP1), the effects SENP1 on still controversial. In this study, we identified positively expression deSUMOylation and weakened sensitivity hypoxic cancer cells cisplatin. These results indicate a positive regulator plays negative role in chemotherapy.

Excessive proliferation of vascular smooth muscle cells (VSMCs), which migrate from the tunica media to subendothelial region, is one primary lesions involved in atherogenesis diabetes. Here, we investigated whether high glucose potentiated and chemotaxis VSMCs by activating SDF-1α/CXCR4/PI-3K/Akt signalling. The expression SDF-1α, CXCR4 PCNA was up-regulated thoracic aortas streptozotocin-induced hyperglycaemic Sprague-Dawley rats. Exposure (25 mM) led SDF-1α CXCR4, activated PI-3K/Akt...

Mucinous cystadenocarcinoma (MCA) of the breast is extremely rare and was only recently described as a distinct variant invasive ductal carcinoma breast. A case MCA reported in 41‐year‐old woman. Mammographic ultrasonographic examinations showed an irregularly shaped 10.0 × 8.0 5.5 cm lesion with patching calcification upper outer quadrant left The gross examination revealed that tumor has well‐circumscribed edge gelatinous cut surface hemorrhage necrosis were also noticed mass....

Summary Ischaemia/reperfusion (I/R) is a major cause of heart failure. Recently cardiac stem cells (CSCs) were proposed as the most appropriate cell type for disease therapy. However, it still unclear whether I/R can stimulate CSCs homing to injured myocardium. Male Sprague–Dawley rats subjected 30‐min ischaemia followed by reperfusion different intervals. RT‐PCR, western blotting and immunohistochemistry performed detect factor (SCF) expression at mRNA protein levels respectively....

Background: Despite of the paradigm change on treatments acute myeloid leukemia (AML) and chronic lymphocytic (CLL) by venetoclax, it has been less successful in treatment diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL).Here, we explored whether acylglycerol kinase regulates sensitivity DLBCLs to venetoclax its mechanism both cell lines preclinical animal models. Methods: The expression AGK seven DLBCL were determined.Upon knockdown overexpression lentivirus cells, venetoclax-induced apoptosis...

Abstract As of August 23, 2020, the 2019 novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) has infected more than 23,518,340 people and caused 810,492 deaths worldwide including 4,717 in China. We present a case 53-year-old woman who was admitted to hospital because dry coughs high fever on January 26, Wuhan, She not tested for SARS-CoV-2 RNA until day 11 (illness 21) significant shortage test kits at local hospital. Then, her positive COVID-19 20. Despite intensive medical treatments, she developed...

Parathyroid carcinoma (PC) is a rare and aggressive endocrine malignancy with limited treatment options. Current treatments such as chemotherapy radiotherapy have demonstrated efficacy. Here, we report the case of male patient who presented symptoms including polydipsia, polyuria, joint pain. The present study aimed investigate the contribution of BM-derived CXCR4(+) (a CXC chemokine receptor) and PDGFRbeta(+) (platelet-derived growth factor receptor beta) in hypoxia-induced muscularization alveolar arterioles.Accumulation GFP(+) (green fluorescent protein) was markedly increased pulmonary vasculature by hypoxic (10% O(2,) 4 weeks) chimeric mice with transgenic GFP-tagged BM.
