The authors describe the outcomes of 25 patients, procedure's surgical steps, and potential advantages using posterior percutaneous full-endoscopic cervical discectomy under local anesthesia. They believe this technique may be a new alternative in treatment selected patients with radiculopathy due to soft-disc herniation.

Cancer immunotherapy is a treatment method that activates or enhances the autoimmune response of body to fight tumor growth and metastasis, has fewer toxic side effects longer-lasting efficacy than radiotherapy chemotherapy, become an important means for clinical cancer. However, results from have shown most patients lack responsiveness cannot benefit this strategy. The microenvironment (TME) plays critical role in immunotherapy. TME typically prevents effective lymphocyte activation,...

Abstract Tendinopathy is a common tendon disorder characterized by pain, swelling, and dysfunction. Current evidence has demonstrated that the depletion of stem cell pool non-tenogenic differentiation tendon-derived stem/progenitor cells (TSPCs) might account for pathogenesis tendinopathy. FNDC5/Irisin, as novel exercise-induced myokine, proved to be involved in protective effects on musculoskeletal disorders. However, whether irisin can affect TSPCs fate still unknown. To ascertain roles...

Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) remains a global challenge as it is the sixth most common neoplasm worldwide and third leading cause of cancer-related death. A key feature HCC abnormal metabolism, which promotes cancer cell proliferation, survival, invasion, metastasis. However, significance metabolism-related genes (MRGs) in to be elucidated. Here, we aim establish novel prognostic signature for prediction patient outcomes investigate value MRG expression HCC. In our research,...

To evaluate the feasibility and efficacy of computed tomography (CT)-guided radiofrequency ablation (RFA) cervical intervertebral discs for treatment discogenic cervicogenic headache (CEH).Some patients with CEH experience no obvious therapeutic effect after conventional therapy, particularly refractory originating from abnormal discs. Treatment this type remains poorly characterized.Using a single intervention arm, pretest/posttest design, we retrospectively analyzed data who underwent...

Sinuvertebral nerve overactivation is one of the mechanisms neck pain caused by cervical disc herniation. Radiofrequency ablation (RFA) sinuvertebral nerves has shown efficacy for treatment discogenic low back pain. However, relatively few studies evaluated RFA chronic Clinical data were retrospectively collected from 168 patients diagnosed with herniated January 1, 2019, to September 2022, who treated computed tomography (CT)-guided at Pain Medicine Center Zhejiang Provincial People's...

Background Extracellular matrix (ECM) degradation, chondrocyte inflammation, and cellular senescence contribute to the pathology of osteoarthritis (OA). Empagliflozin, a selective inhibitor sodium-glucose cotransporter-2 (SGLT2), has been reported show anti-inflammatory properties in several conditions. However, whether empagliflozin can be used improve OA is still unknown. Methods The protective effects underlying mechanism were investigated vitro vivo. Cell viability, catabolic markers,...

Aim: To explore the long-term outcome of patients with lumbar disc herniation (LDH) performed percutaneous transforaminal endoscopic discectomy technique (PTED). Materials and methods: In this retrospective study, we collected medical records from 974 LDH who received PTED operation May 2010 to July 2015. Follow-up measurements were at 1, 3, 6 12 months after surgery. Before surgery, visual analogue scale (VAS) was used for evaluating pain in leg low back. Oswestry Disability Index (ODI)...

Abstract Purpose: Although percutaneous minimally invasive techniques have been gradually applied to the surgical treatment of cervical disc herniation (CDH), some patients still experience adverse outcomes. The aim this study was explore effect acupuncture for CDH after surgery (MIS). Methods: We retrospectively reviewed with admitted our department between January 1, 2019 and December 31, 2020. Visual analog scale (VAS), neck disability index (NDI), modified MacNab criteria were used...
