六君子湯は8生薬から構成され，食欲不振や胃もたれに用いられている。これらの症状は胃排出の低下に起因する場合が多い。シスプラチンは食欲不振や吐き気を引き起こす代表的な薬物であるが，やはり胃排出を低下させる。しかし，シスプラチンによる胃排出低下に対する六君子湯の作用はこれまで検討されていない。そこで今回，シスプラチンによるラット胃排出低下に対する六君子湯（白朮処方）の作用を検討した。その結果，六君子湯は胃排出を改善し，構成生薬では白朮，人参，茯苓，陳皮が同様に改善した。これら4生薬の組み合わせでは，白朮を含む場合に作用が強くなる傾向が認められた。一方，六君子湯から白朮を除くと作用は六君子湯よりも減弱した。なお，白朮由来成分のアトラクチレノリドⅢも六君子湯や白朮と同様に胃排出を改善した。以上の結果から，六君子湯はシスプラチンによる胃排出低下を抑制し，それには白朮が深く関与することが示唆された。
