Several previous studies have shown relationships between adherence to HIV antiretroviral therapy (ART) and the viral load, CD4 cell count, or mortality. However, impact of variability in ART on immunovirological response does not seem been investigated yet. Monthly data (November 1999 April 2009) from 317 HIV-1 infected patients enrolled Senegalese initiative were analyzed. Latent-class trajectory models used build typical trajectories for average standardized variance adherence. The...

Efficacy and safety data in real-world (rw) settings are needed to confirm these results.
