CAR-NK cells may represent a valuable tool, complementary to CAR-T cells, in adoptive immunotherapy of leukemia and solid tumors. However, gene transfer human NK is challenging task, particularly with non-virus-based techniques. Here, we describe new procedure allowing efficient electroporation-based transfection plasmid DNA, including CAR CCR7 genes, resting or cytokine-expanded cell populations NK-92 line. This offer suitable platform for safe effective use cancer.

Malignant gliomas are the most common primary brain tumors in adults and challenging cancers for diagnosis treatment. They remain a disease which non-invasive, diagnostic and/or prognostic novel biomarkers highly desirable. Altered microRNA (miRNA) profiles have been observed tumor tissues biological fluids. To date only small set of circulating/serum miRNA is found to be differentially expressed compared normal controls. Here restricted signature including miR-15b*,-23a, -99a, -125b, -133a,...

Toll-like receptors (TLRs) are pattern-recognition sensors mainly expressed in innate immune cells that directly recognize conserved pathogen structures (pathogen-associated molecular patterns-PAMPs). Natural killer (NK) have been described to express different endosomal TLRs triggered by RNA and DNA sequences derived from both viruses bacteria. This study was addressed establish which TLR could mediate NK activation function after proper stimuli. It also important the most suitable agonist...

Natural Killer (NK) cells are important components of the immune system in defense against tumor growth and metastasis. They release exosomes containing proteins nucleic acids, including microRNAs (miRNAs). NK-derived play a role anti-tumor NK cell function since they able to recognize kill cancer cells. However, involvement exosomal miRNAs is poorly understood. In this study, we explored miRNA content by microarray as compared their cellular counterparts. The expression selected lytic...

In early infected or severe coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) patients, circulating NK cells are consistently reduced, despite being highly activated exhausted. The aim of this paper was to establish whether acute respiratory syndrome 2 (SARS-CoV-2) spike glycoprotein (SP) may directly trigger and through which receptor(s).

Precision in redox signaling is attained through posttranslational protein modifications such as oxidation of thiols. The peroxidase peroxiredoxin 1 (PRDX1) regulates signal transduction changes thiol its cysteines. We demonstrate here that PRDX1 a binding partner for the tumor suppressive transcription factor FOXO3 directly stress response. Heightened oxidative evokes formation disulfide-bound heterotrimers linking dimeric to monomeric FOXO3. Absence enhances nuclear localization and are...
