Abstract: Skin manifestations of COVID-19 infections are diverse and new to the dermatology community. We had opportunity examine clinical histopathological features several patients who were divided into 3 groups. The first group included 8 COVID-19–positive hospitalized quarantined at home. second children young adults presented with chilblain erythema, erythema multiforme, urticaria-like lesions. This was negative for gene sequences by polymerase chain reaction but a high risk infection....

The global outbreak of human monkeypox virus (hMPXV1) in 2022 highlighted the usefulness dermatological manifestations for its diagnosis. Infection by thus necessitated inclusion diagnostic repertoire dermatopathology. To assess histopathological and microscopical findings cutaneous lesions related to hMPXV infection, we analyzed skin biopsies from patients with positive MPXV DNA polymerase chain reaction presenting a typical course hMPXV1 infection. most prominent were ascribable pustular...

Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) pathogenesis has been linked to the aberrant activation of Gut-associated lymphoid tissues against components intestinal microbiota. Although contribution CD4 + T helper cells inflammatory processes is being increasingly acknowledged, functional engagement human invariant natural killer (iNKT) still poorly defined. Here, we evaluated characteristics iNKT during IBD and exploit role mucosa-associated microbiota recognition in triggering cells’ pro-inflammatory...

Cutaneous metastases represent 2% of all skin tumours. Their recognition can be challenging, as they may present with different clinical features, consequent frequent delay and failure in diagnosis. To review our series cutaneous metastatic lesions, analyse their frequency according to patient gender, histotype, localization the primary tumour, site metastasis, correlate this data clinicopathological parameters. We conducted a retrospective cases from visceral neoplasms diagnosed...

We collected 15 cases cLE other than tumidus (M:F = 4:11; age range: 23-79 years; mean age: 50.9 median 57 years). Of cases, 9 (60%) were characterized by dense nodular infiltrates.
