A series of novel myricetin derivatives containing a 1,2,4-triazole Schiff base were designed and synthesized. Their structures systematically characterized using 1H NMR, 13C HRMS. During antibacterial bioassays, 6f, 6i, 6q demonstrated good inhibitory effect against Xanthomonas axonopodis pv. citri (Xac), with half-maximal effective concentration (EC50) values 10.0, 9.4, 8.8 μg mL-1, respectively, which better than those bismerthiazol (54.9 mL-1) thiodiazole copper (61.1 mL-1). Note that 6w...

Abstract Background The differential diagnoses of patients hospitalized for respiratory infections due to influenza virus vs other pathogens are challenging. Our study investigated whether hematological parameters such as neutrophil (N), lymphocyte (L), platelet (PLT), and neutrophil‐to‐lymphocyte ratio (NLR) contributed in diagnosing discriminating infections. Methods We retrospectively analyzed the laboratory characteristics 307 with caused by influenza/non‐influenza bacteria. diagnostic...

Abstract BACKGROUND Myricetin and sulfonamide derivatives exhibited a wide variety of biological activity. In order to develop highly bioactive molecules, novel myricetin containing moiety were synthesized antibacterial activities investigated. RESULTS The results bioassays indicated that compound A12 , having an EC 50 value 4.7 μg mL −1 the best in vitro against Xanthomonas oryzae pv. Abstract Background The aim is to evaluate the clinical utility of a long-read sequencing-based approach termed comprehensive analysis thalassemia alleles (CATSA) in prenatal diagnosis thalassemia. Methods A total 278 fetuses from at-risk pregnancies identified carrier screening by PCR-based methods were recruited 9 hospitals, and employed for diagnosis. CATSA was performed retrospectively blindly all fetuses. Results Among fetuses, 263 (94.6%) had concordant results 15 (5.4%) discordant...

A series of novel chalcone derivatives containing a thiophene sulfonate group were designed and synthesized. The structures all title compounds determined by 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR HRMS. Antibacterial bioassays indicated that, compound 2l demonstrated excellent antibacterial activities against Xanthomonas axonopodis pv. citri (Xac), with an EC50 value 11.4 μg mL-1, which is significantly superior to those bismerthiazol (BT) (51.6 mL-1) thiodiazole-copper (TC) (94.7 mL-1).
