Predictions for light charged hadron production data in the current fragmentation region of deeply inelastic scattering from H1 and ZEUS experiments are calculated using perturbative quantum chromodynamics at next-to-leading order, functions obtained by fitting to similar ${e}^{+}{e}^{\ensuremath{-}}$ reactions. An approach valid to any order which unifies the fixed Dokshitzer-Gribov-Lipatov-Altarelli-Parisi evolution of fragmentation functions at large $x$ with soft gluon logarithmic resummation small is proposed. The status of small x resummation in the timelike kinematics is discussed. We present a general procedure to extract large logarithms MS factorization scheme and resum them closed form.
