Group 3 innate lymphoid cells (ILC3s) sense environmental signals and are critical for tissue integrity in the intestine. Yet, which sensed what receptors control ILC3 function remain poorly understood. Here, we show that ILC3s with a lymphoid-tissue-inducer (LTi) phenotype expressed G-protein-coupled receptor 183 (GPR183) migrated to its oxysterol ligand 7α,25-hydroxycholesterol (7α,25-OHC). In mice lacking Gpr183 or 7α,25-OHC, failed localize cryptopatches (CPs) isolated follicles (ILFs)....

The immune system shapes body metabolism, while interactions between peripheral neurons and cells control tissue homeostasis immunity. However, whether neuroimmune orchestrate endocrine functions remains unexplored. After fasting, mice lacking type 2 innate lymphoid (ILC2s) displayed disrupted glucose homeostasis, impaired pancreatic glucagon secretion, inefficient hepatic gluconeogenesis. Additionally, intestinal ILC2s were found in the pancreas, which was dependent on their expression of...

Abstract Neural crest (NC)-derived mesenchyme has previously been shown to play an important role in the development of fetal thymus. Using Wnt1-Cre and Sox10-Cre mice crossed Rosa26eYfp reporter mice, we have revealed NC-derived mesenchymal cells adult murine We report that infiltrate thymus before day 13.5 embryonic (E13.5) differentiate into with characteristics smooth muscle associated large vessels, pericytes capillaries. In organ at 3 mo age, these perivascular continue be vasculature,...

Interactions between the mammalian host and commensal microbiota are enforced through a range of immune responses that confer metabolic benefits promote tissue health homeostasis. Immunoglobulin A (IgA) directly determine composition species colonize intestinal tract but require substantial resources to fuel antibody production by tissue-resident plasma cells. Here, we demonstrate IgA subject diurnal regulation over course circadian day. Specifically, magnitude secretion, as well...

CD4 T cell help was proposed to have a pivotal role in orienting CD8 responses antigen stimulation. By activating antigen-presenting cells (APC), would induce their expression of costimulatory molecules, the "signal two" required full activation, preventing tolerance. Recent data on this subject is contradictory, as absence did not alwaysresult These differences were attributed either presence residual or, respectively type stimulation, peptide affinity, CTL frequencies, and/or strength...
