Abstract A titanium sulfonate ligand is synthesized for surface coordination of black phosphorus (BP). In contrast to serious degradation observed from the bare BP, BP after exhibits excellent stability during dispersion in water and exposure air a long period time, thereby significantly extending lifetime spurring broader application BP.

We have fabricated a novel sunlight photo-detector based on MoS2/graphene heterostructure. The heterostructure was prepared by facile hydrothermal method along with subsequent annealing process followed substrate-induced high selective nucleation and growth mechanism. microstructures morphologies of the two-dimensional can be experimentally confirmed x-ray diffraction (XRD), Raman spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission (TEM) UV–vis absorption spectrometer....

Here, a graphene-based aerogel embedded with two types of functional nanoparticles shaped in three-dimensional (3D) cylindrical architecture was prepared by facile one-pot hydrothermal process. During the reaction, uniformly dispersed TiO2 (P25) and CdS were loaded on graphene sheets, resulting composites self-assembled into 3D interconnected network. It is shown that hydrogel are appropriate robust hosts for anchoring different nanostructured particles. The outstanding synergistic effect...

Spatial self-phase modulation (SSPM) experiments on two-dimensional (2D) black phosphorus (BP) nanoflake suspensions are performed with focused femtosecond pulsed lasers at 350-1160 nm. In the broadband region, slope of SSPM ring number versus laser intensity varies from 0.99 to 0.34, which is larger than 0.25 in MoS2. We deduce portion fluid globe (ξ) be 0.0067, a constant independent intensity, when above 10 W/cm2. The nonlinear refractive index BP measured ∼10(-5) cm2 W(-1), and...

Non-Hermitian systems offer novel methods for manipulating electromagnetic waves, including applications in sensing and mode conversion, attracting significant research interest. In this work, we propose a hybrid photonic crystal comprised of two topologically distinct heterostructures with angle-insensitive band gaps. This can sustain topological interface states (TISs), is considered as an optical non-Hermitian system. By precisely tuning the coupling between these TISs, achieve perfect...

Photoresponse properties of a large area MoS2 atomic layer synthesized by vapor phase deposition method without any catalyst are studied. Scanning electron microscopy, force Raman spectrum, and photoluminescence spectrum characterizations confirm that the two-dimensional microstructures high quality. Photoelectrical results indicate as-prepared devices have an excellent sensitivity good reproducibility as photodetector, which is proposed to be ascribed potential-assisted charge separation mechanism.
