Background: Circumferential pulmonary vein isolation (CPVI) alone or combined with adjuvant substrate modifications is unsatisfactory for atrial fibrillation (AF) control in nonparoxysmal AF patients. Ablation targeting the fibrotic areas after CPVI (STABLE-SR [Electrophysiological Substrate Left Atrium During Sinus Rhythm]) a newly evolved modification strategy. Methods and Results: In this multicenter, randomized clinical trial, 229 symptomatic patients were 1:1 to STABLE-SR group (n=114)...

Abstract Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a disease of the central nervous system characterized by widespread demyelination, axonal loss and gliosis, neurodegeneration; susceptibility‐weighted imaging (SWI), through use phase information to enhance local susceptibility or T2* contrast, relatively new simple MRI application that can directly image cerebral veins exploiting venous blood oxygenation. Here, we high‐field SWI at 3.0 Tesla 15 patients with clinically definite relapsing‐remitting MS...

ABSTRACT In clinical practice, particularly in neurology assessments, imaging multiparametric MR images with a single‐sequence scan is often limited by either insufficient contrast or the constraints of accelerated techniques. A novel single 3D method, incorporating Wave‐CAIPI and MULTIPLEX technologies named WAMP, has been developed for rapid comprehensive parametric diagnostic applications. Featuring hybrid design that includes wave encoding, CAIPIRINHA sampling pattern, dual time...

The hierarchical fast learning artificial neural network (HieFLANN) is a clustering NN that can be initialized using statistical properties of the data set. This provides possibility constructing entire autonomously with no manual intervention. distinguishes it from many existing networks that, though hierarchically plausible, still require initialization processes. unique system begins reduction high-dimensional feature space into smaller and manageable ones. process involves K-iterations...

Abstract Purpose: To evaluate the feasibility of performing single breathhold three‐dimensional (3D) thoracic noncontrast MR angiography (NC‐MRA) using highly accelerated parallel imaging. Materials and Methods: We developed a NC MRA pulse sequence balanced steady state free precession (SSFP) readout In 17 subjects, was compared against electrocardiogram‐triggered contrast‐enhanced MRA. Anonymized images were randomized for blinded review by two independent readers image quality, artifact...

Twenty-six sedentary young males participated training program moderate intensity. Arterial variables of right common carotid artery were measured computed weeks 0, 4, 8, 12. Across training, was decreased 8 12 improved week state. In response to intervention, exhibited an...

The capacity of the deep learning ReconNet3D model for single-channel image reconstruction with highly under-sampled k-spaces is demonstrated. Without need coil sensitivity information, proposed method can achieve an acceleration factor 4 on a dual-channel VTC coil. Supporting high-factor limited channels be very beneficial imaging surface coils or preclinical animal scans.

Background Evaluation of myocardial function with MRI is challenging on patients impaired breath-hold (BH) capabilities or arrhythmias due to the difficulty respiratory motion suspension and synchronization cardiac cycles. Compressed sensing (CS) enables free breathing (FB) real-time cine imaging improved spatiotemporal resolution, but conventional temporal sparsifying transforms do not account for motion, which limits its performance. In this work, we propose acquire data continuously in FB...

However, to achieve fast image acquisition, real-time commonly acquires highly undersampled data, which imposes a significant challenge reconstruction.
