Cellular retinol-binding protein II (CRBP II) is a member of the cellular family, which expressed primarily in small intestine. To investigate physiological role CRBP II, gene encoding was inactivated. The saturable component intestinal retinol uptake impaired <i>CRBP II</i> −/− mice. knockout mice, while maintained on vitamin A-enriched diet, have reduced (40%) hepatic A stores but grow and reproduce normally. However, reducing maternal dietary to marginal levels during latter...

Clustering analysis has the very broad applications on data analysis, such as mining, machine learning, and information retrieval. In practice, most of clustering algorithms suffer from effects noises, different densities shapes, cluster overlaps, etc. To solve problems, in this paper, we propose a simple but effective density-based framework (DCF) implement algorithm based DCF. DCF, raw set is partitioned into core points non-core by neighborhood density estimation model, then are clustered...

Retinoid X receptors (RXRs) are nuclear that can activate transcription as homodimers or obligate heterodimeric partners of other receptors. While the crystal structures RXR ligand-binding domains (LBD) have been previously determined, dynamics activation is less well characterized at an atomic level. To probe effect ligand binding on LBD dynamics, we initiated magnetic resonance studies recombinant human RXRα (T223−T462) with and without bound 9-cis-retinoic acid (9cRA). The 1HN, 15N, 13Cα,...

NOD2 single nucleotide polymorphisms have been associated with increased risk of ileal Crohn's disease (CD). This exploratory study was conducted to compare mucosal gene expression in CD patients and without alleles. Ileal samples were prospectively collected from 18 nonsmoking not treated anti-TNF-α biologics 9 control inflammatory bowel undergoing initial resection genotyped for the 3 major alleles (Arg702Trp, Gly908Arg, Leu1007fs). Microarray analysis performed 4 NOD2R (at least 1 allele)...

This paper focuses on traffic sign spotting (TSS which automatically recognizes not only the conventional signs but also information, facility and service signs, lights. TSS is divided into two sequential tasks: detecting candidate regions in an image recognizing regions. It a very challenging task. Abstract The effect of retinoid X receptor (RXR) antagonists on the conformational exchange RXR ligand‐binding domain (LBD) remains poorly characterized. To address this question, we used nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy to compare chemical shift perturbations induced by and agonists RXRα LBD when partnered with itself as a homodimer heterodimeric partner peroxisome proliferator‐activated γ (PPARγ) LBD. Chemical mapping crystal structure showed that agonist binding abolished...

Effective therapies are limited for patients with parenteral nutrition-dependent short bowel syndrome. We previously showed that intestinal expression of the transcriptional coregulator tetradecanoyl phorbol acetate-induced sequence 7 (tis7) is markedly increased during adaptive response following massive small resection and tis7 plays a role in normal gut lipid metabolism. Here, we further explore functional implications deletion metabolism resection. Intestinal transgenic (tis7(tg)),...

Mining feature evolvable streams has gained increasing attention in recent years. However, most existing approaches are designed for stationary data (i.e., without concept drifts) and often work with high time complexity due to the time-consuming optimization procedure. The two deficiencies thus largely limit its applications real-world stream scenarios. In this paper, we consider a more difficult but practical streaming setting: both drifts features. To end, propose general framework mining...
