We present new reference values for the NIST SRM 610–617 glasses following ISO guidelines and International Association of Geoanalysts’ protocol. Uncertainties at 95% confidence level (CL) have been determined bulk‐ micro‐analytical purposes. In contrast to former compilation procedures, this approach delivers data that consider present‐day requirements quality. New analytical nearly complete set GeoReM database were used study. Laser ablation inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (LA-ICP-MS) produces complex, time-dependent signals. These require significantly different treatment both during data acquisition and reduction from the more steady-state signals produced by solution sample introduction. This paper discusses, in detail, considerations LA-ICP-MS analysis. Optimum parameters are suggested. Equations derived for calculation of concentrations LOD when time-resolved is employed, sensitivity calibration...

Various zircons of Proterozoic to Oligocene ages (1060‐31 Ma) were analysed by laser ablation‐inductively coupled plasma‐mass spectrometry. Calibration was performed using Harvard reference zircon 91500 or Australian National University TEMORA 1 as external calibrant. The results agree with those obtained SIMS within 2s error. Twenty‐four trace and rare earth elements (P, Ti, Cr, Y, Nb, fourteen REE, Hf, Ta, Pb, Th U) on four fragments 91500. NIST SRM 610 used the material 29 Si internal...

We present new analytical data of major and trace elements for the geological MPI‐DING glasses KL2‐G, ML3B‐G, StHs6/80‐G, GOR128‐G, GOR132‐G, BM90/21‐G, T1‐G, ATHO‐G. Different methods were used to obtain a large spectrum element data, in particular, EPMA, SIMS, LA‐ICPMS, isotope dilution by TIMS ICPMS. Altogether, more than 60 qualified geochemical laboratories worldwide contributed analyses, allowing us reference information values their uncertainties (at 95% confidence level) up 74...

Colloidal lead halide perovskite nanocrystals (NCs) have recently emerged as versatile photonic sources. Their processing and luminescent properties are challenged by the lability of their surfaces, i.e., interface NC core ligand shell. On example CsPbBr3 NCs, we model nanocrystal surface structure its effect on emergence trap states using density functional theory. We rationalize typical observation a degraded luminescence upon aging or recovery postsynthesis treatments. The conclusions...
