Proanthocyanidins (PAs) are an important group of flavonoids that contribute to astringency, color, and flavor in grapes (Vitis vinifera) wines. They also play a crucial role enhancing plant resistance various stresses. However, the underlying regulatory mechanism governing PAs biosynthesis, particularly relation conferring powdery mildew, has not been extensively explored. This study focused on identifying key player namely U-box (PUB) E3 ubiquitin ligase VvPUB26. We discovered...

Nanofertilizers can be used as potential contenders to provide macro- and micronutrients plants. Specifically, iron-oxide-based engineered nanoparticles are promising candidates for next-generation iron-deficiency fertilizers. Aiming investigate the effect of Fe2O3 magnetic on plant germination growth, alfalfa seeds were presoaked by a series concentrations (0, 50, 100, 150, 200 mg/L) NPs in this study. The rate, root length, chlorophyll content, activity antioxidant enzymes (superoxide...

Azoxystrobin, a quinone outside inhibitor fungicide, reduced tobacco target spot caused by Rhizoctonia solani 62%, but also affected the composition and diversity of other microbes on surface interior treated leaves. High-throughput sequencing showed that dominant bacteria prior to azoxystrobin treatment were Methylobacterium healthy leaves Pseudomonas diseased leaves, fungi Thanatephorous (teleomorph Rhizoctonia) Symmetrospora Both bacterial fungal significantly increased 1 18 days post...

This study investigates the impact of urban low-carbon governance on firms' capital-labor ratio. By treating China's city pilot (LCCP) policy as an instrument, we apply a difference-in-differences method (DID) and find that LCCP program significantly reduces ratio, but effect only manifests in state-owned enterprises (SOEs). The mechanism result demonstrates to intensify governance, local governments adjusted fiscal expenditure structure, resulting SOEs employing less capital more labor. may...

Abstract Antifungal‐resistant dermatophytes (ARD) infection is a hotspot issue in clinical microbiology and the dermatology field. Trichophyton indotineae as dominant species of dermatophyte with terbinafine‐resistance or multidrug resistance, easy to be missed detection clinically, which brings severe challenges diagnosis treatment. ARD cases have emerged China, it predicts risk transmission among human. Based on existing medical evidence research data, Mycology Group Combination...

Abstract Cold stress seriously affects plant growth and development. The ubiquitination system plays an important role by degrading modifying substrates at the protein level. In this study, U-box type ubiquitin ligase VviPUB19 gene was induced low temperature (4°C) in grapevine. Arabidopsis thaliana, pub19 mutant, a homologous mutation of VviPUB19, exhibited enhanced cold tolerance, resistance phenotype mutant could be attenuated VviPUB19. VviPUB19-overexpressing grape lines lower tolerance....

High temperature is an important global issue that impedes agricultural production, especially of soybean (Glycine max [L.] Merr.) crop. Numerous studies were undertaken to estimate the effect on seed germination under low temperatures. However, effects high-temperatures and early seedling establishment various cultivars need be explored further. Therefore, current study was performed in growth chambers evaluate genetic variations among different for varying Five temperatures, i.e., 15, 20,...

SUMMARY Proanthocyanidin, synthesized in the endoplasmic reticulum and stored vacuoles, is key to grape wine quality. Glutathione S‐transferase (GST) plays a crucial role proanthocyanidin accumulation. However, little known about mechanisms of GSTs process. Here, we found that TAU‐type GST VvGSTU60 required for accumulation Vitis vinifera . Gene expression analysis revealed favorable correlation between pattern seed V. We discovered overexpression grapes resulted significant increase...
