Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is an endocrinopathy in childbearing-age females which can cause many complications, such as diabetes, obesity, and dyslipidemia. The metabolic disorders patients with PCOS were linked to gut microbial dysbiosis. However, the correlation between community dyslipidemia remains unillustrated. Our study elucidated different microbiota (PCOS.D) compared those only healthy women.

Abstract Background Multiple morphological abnormalities of the sperm flagella (MMAF) is a subtype severe asthenoteratozoospermia with poorly understood genetic etiology. SPAG6 core axonemal component that plays critical role in formation cilia and flagella. Previous studies have reported mutations cause primary ciliary dyskinesia (PCD), but association between gene variants MMAF phenotype has not yet been described. Methods We performed whole-exome sequencing (WES) two unrelated Han Chinese...

We assessed the safety and efficacy of rhFSH-CTP, a novel long-acting FSH agent, in controlled ovarian hyperstimulation for patients undergoing ART. A multi-center, open-label, randomized, positive-control, non-inferiority clinical trial was conducted. The study consisted phase III randomized design, with 1:1 ratio favoring rhFSH-CTP group over control group. Eligible received single dose at 100–150 µg first 7d stimulation following gonadotropin-releasing hormone antagonist protocol. In...

Abstract Background Altered sperm DNA methylation patterns of imprinted genes as well certain spermatogenesis-related has been proposed a possible mechanism male subfertility. Some reports suggest that there is an elevated risk congenital diseases, associated with genes, in children conceived via intra-cytoplasmic injection, due to the involvement spermatozoa aberrant obtained from infertile men. Methods In this study, status promoter regions six namely potassium voltage-gated channel...

Non-obstructive azoospermia (NOA) is the most severe form of male infertility; more than half NOA patients are idiopathic. Although many risk genes have been detected, genetic factors for in majority unknown. In addition, it difficult to retrieve sperm from these despite using microsurgical testicular extraction (microTESE) method. Therefore, we conducted this study identify potential responsible and investigate retrieval rate microTESE genetically deficient patients.Semen analyses, sex...
