Aims and Background To report an extremely rare case of Ewing's sarcoma located in the rectovaginal septum. is a highly malignant neoplasm bone, which usually occurs during childhood. Common extraosseous localizations include trunk, extremities, uterus, cervix vagina. Methods A 45-year-old woman presented to us with six-month history pain lower abdomen intercourse. Pelvic examination was performed palpable mass found. The had size 9 × 6 cm, soft tissue consistency, partially movable patient...
Background : Cell‐wall components of Gram‐positive and Gram‐negative bacteria induce the production cytokines in human peripheral blood mononuclear cells. These are main mediators local or systemic inflammatory reaction that can contribute to development innate immunity. Aims This study was performed analyze involvement CD14 molecule activation monocytes by peptidoglycan monomer (PGM) obtained biosynthesis from culture fluid penicillin‐treated Brevibacterium divaricatum NRLL-2311 . Methods...
A case of rare tumor, Merkel cell carcinoma, located in the ear canal a 25-year-old woman is presented. polypoid tumor mass was extirpated, and tympanoplasty done at first operation, whereas second all bones were removed. Epitympanum cavum filled with removed toto. The histopathology immunohistochemical staining characteristics confirmed presence tumor. Postoperatively, radiation therapy to bed completed. There no clinical or radiographic evidence recurrence metastasis for 3 years.
<i>Objective:</i> The effect of the somatostatin analogue SMS 201-995 (octreotide; OCT) on course experimental allergic encephalomyelitis (EAE) in relatively resistant Albino Oxford (AO) strain rats was studied. <i>Methods:</i> Animals were actively immunized with bovine brain homogenate complete Freund’s adjuvant. OCT given subcutaneously hind legs days 7, 8 and 9 after immunization, at a dose 3 × 5 µg/kg/day. Rats control groups treated saline or left untreated. EAE...

Since it is well known that both zinc ions and bacterial immunostimulants influence the function of immune system, in present study we investigated immunomodulating activity a new analog peptidoglycan monomer (PGM), which basic molecule was linked to (PGM-Zn). Its effects BALB/c mice, aged 10–12 months, were compared with equimolar doses PGM ZnCl2. The treatment lasted 26 days (one i.p. injection every fifth day). results showed PGM-Zn may markedly enhance antibody production...
Peptidoglycan monomer (PGM), which was originally prepared by biosynthesis from culture fluids of penicillin-treated Brevibacterium divaricatum, is an immunostimulator, the activities might be improved addition zinc (Zn) to basic molecule. To test possible cytotoxic effects this new analogue, we analyzed ability PGM-Zn and PGM change phenotypic profile hepatic splenic mononuclear lymphatic cells affect growth malignant T-cell line YAC-1 syngeneic thymocytes.Pretreatment C57BL/6 mice primarily...
