Owing to the superior properties of silicon carbide (SiC), such as higher breakdown voltage, thermal conductivity, operating frequency, temperature, and saturation drift velocity, SiC has attracted much attention from researchers industry for decades. With advances in material science processing technology, many power applications new smart energy vehicles, converters, inverters, supplies are being realized using devices. In particular, MOSFETs generally chosen be used a device due their...

An ensemble empirical mode decomposition (EEMD)-based approach was developed to extract steady-state visual evoked potentials (SSVEPs) for wireless handling of a small robot car. Three stimuli, flickering at 13, 14, and 15 Hz, were displayed on liquid crystal display monitor induce user's SSVEPs. The induced SSVEPs used control three movement functions (forward, left, right) the Users gazed one chosen stimulus time, SSVEP recognized activate desired function. In this paper, all subjects...

Optical time-stretch microscopy has recently attracted intensive attention for its capability of acquiring images at an ultrahigh frame rate. Unfortunately, achievable rate is limited by the requirement having no overlap between consecutive frames, which leads to a tradeoff (pulse repetition rate) and amount temporal dispersion used optical image serialization. In this paper, we demonstrate compressive sensing on platform overcome (time stretch) achieve 50 times higher than conventional...

Complete removal of brain tumor is the most interest to a surgeon because resection area directly relates recurrence rate. Although there are many biomedical imaging modalities applied locate positions tumors, they lack spatial resolution precisely delineate boundary between and normal tissues also inconvenient be used intraoperatively. This study aims examine feasibility label-free, polarization-sensitive optical coherence tomography (PS-OCT) for distinguishing tumors from tissues. Ex vivo...

In neurosurgery, accurately identifying brain tumor tissue is vital for reducing recurrence. Current imaging techniques have limitations, prompting the exploration of alternative methods. This study validated a binary hierarchical classification tissues: normal tissue, primary central nervous system lymphoma (PCNSL), high-grade glioma (HGG), and low-grade (LGG) using transfer learning. Tumor specimens were measured with optical coherence tomography (OCT), MobileNetV2 pre-trained model was...

We characterized and imaged dental calculus using swept-source optical coherence tomography (SS-OCT). The refractive indices of enamel, dentin, cementum, were measured as 1.625 ± 0.024, 1.534 0.029, 1.570 0.021, 2.097 0.094, respectively. Dental leads strong scattering properties, thus, the region can be identified from enamel with SS-OCT imaging. An extracted human tooth is covered gingiva tissue an in vitro sample for tomographic
