Numerous studies have shown that long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) behave as a novel class of transcript during multiple cancer processes, such cell proliferation, apoptosis, migration, and invasion. LINC00152 is located on chromosome 2p11.2, has length 828 nucleotides. The biological role in LAD(lung adenocarcinoma) remains unknown.Quantitative reverse transcription PCR(qRT-PCR) was used to detect expression 60 human LAD tissues paired normal tissues. In vitro vivo showed the function tumour...

In this paper, we propose "personal VAD", a system to detect the voice activity of target speaker at frame level. This is useful for gating inputs streaming on-device speech recognition system, such that it only triggers user, which helps reduce computational cost and battery consumption, especially in scenarios where keyword detector unpreferable. We achieve by training VAD-alike neural network conditioned on embedding or verification score. For each frame, personal VAD outputs probabilities...

As a newly identified oncogenic long noncoding RNA (lncRNA), prostate cancer-associated transcript 6 (PCAT6) promoted cellular proliferation and colony formation of cancer. However, the biological function PCAT6 in lung cancer is still largely unknown. In this study, we found that significantly increased tissues compared to normal positively correlates with metastasis patients. We then examined expression cell lines was elevated cells human bronchial epithelial (NHBE) cells, especially CL1-5...

Kaposi's sarcoma (KS)-associated herpesvirus (KSHV) is a gammaherpesvirus etiologically associated with KS, highly disseminated angiogenic tumor of hyperproliferative spindle endothelial cells. KSHV encodes 25 mature microRNAs but their roles in KSHV-induced dissemination and angiogenesis remain unknown. Here, we investigated KSHV-encoded miR-K12-6-3p (miR-K6-3p) promotion cell migration angiogenesis, which are the underlying mechanisms angiogenesis. We found that ectopic expression...

Kaposi's sarcoma (KS), a highly disseminated tumor of hyperproliferative spindle endothelial cells, is the most common AIDS-associated malignancy caused by infection sarcoma-associated herpesvirus (KSHV). KSHV-encoded viral interferon regulatory factor 1 (vIRF1) oncogene but its role in KSHV-induced invasiveness and motility remains unknown. Here, we report that vIRF1 promotes cell migration, invasion proliferation down-regulating miR-218-5p to relieve suppression downstream targets high...

Abstract Although a fraction of functional peptides concealed within long non‐coding RNAs (lncRNAs) is identified, it remains unclear whether lncRNA‐encoded are involved in the malignancy cervical cancer (CC). Here, 92‐amino acid peptide discovered, which named TUBORF, encoded by lncRNA TUBA3FP and highly expressed CC tissues. TUBORF inhibits ferroptosis to promote malignant proliferation cells. Mechanistically, human papillomavirus (HPV) oncogenes E6 E7 upregulate through CREB‐binding...

BACKGROUND Gastric cancer is one of the most common malignant tumors worldwide, with its incidence and mortality rates ranking among highest in gastrointestinal cancers. The overexpression or gene amplification human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER-2) occurs approximately 15%-20% gastric cancers serves as a critical molecular target influencing prognosis treatment outcomes. For patients HER-2-positive cancer, trastuzumab combined platinum-based chemotherapy has been established...

Long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs) have been shown to play important roles in various tumors including colorectal cancer (CRC). Here, we obtained data from RNA-sequencing analysis using 3 paired of CRC tissues and corresponding normal tissues. Through Gene Ontology (GO) Kyoto Encyclopedia Genes Genomes (KEGG) pathway analyses, the biological functions these dysregulated genes were identified. Moreover, analyzed expression levels lncRNA PGM5-AS1 B3GALT5-AS1 by quantitative real-time PCR (qRT-PCR)...
