Purpose: To determine the prevalence of a central hyperreflective line in eyes with full-thickness macular holes (FTMH) and lamellar (LMH) to elucidate pathoanatomic importance this optical coherence tomography (OCT) sign. Methods: This retrospective analysis evaluated patients FTMH LMH at Stein Eye Institute. Clinical data was collected SD-OCT volume scans were analyzed for presence vertical 3 separate cohorts: preceding development, after pars plana vitrectomy (PPVT) treatment FTMH, LMH....

Refraction in 67 premature babies was examined and followed during seven years. There continuous changing of refraction towards emmetropia all groups. Fifty-four percent myopic eyes remained at the age years but myopia lower degree than birth. In our series there no relationship between RLF.

Purpose: To evaluate the depth and pattern of retinal hemorrhage in acute central vein occlusion (CRVO) to correlate these with visual anatomic outcomes. Methods: Retinal hemorrhages were evaluated color fundus photography fluorescein angiography at baseline follow-up. Snellen acuity (VA), foveal thickness (CFT), extent ischemia, development neovascularization analyzed. Results: 108 eyes from patients evaluated. Mean age was 63.6 ± 16.1 years a predilection for right eye (73.1%). Average...

Among the total of 537 patients treated for retinal detachment 27 (5.02%) were under age 20. In 44.44 percent cases, there was a history trauma. 58.33% fellow eyes in this group patients, pathology found. This is considered to be predisposing factor and trauma itself only trigger causing detachment.
