The LHCb has discovered two new states with preferred J P quantum numbers 3/2− and 5/2+ from Λ b decays. These can be interpreted as hidden charm pentaquarks. It been argued that the main features of these pentaquarks described by diquark model. model predicts are in separate octet multiplets flavor SU(3) there is also an additional decuplet pentaquark multiplet. Finding provide crucial evidence for this weak decays b-baryon to a light meson have Cabibbo allowed suppressed decay channels. We...

We report the results of a weakly interacting massive particle (WIMP) dark matter search using full 80.1 live-day exposure first stage PandaX experiment (PandaX-I) located in China Jin-Ping Underground Laboratory. The PandaX-I detector has been optimized for detecting low-mass WIMPs, achieving photon detection efficiency 9.6%. With fiducial liquid xenon target mass 54.0 kg, no significant excess events were found above expected background. A profile likelihood ratio analysis confirms our...

This study proposes a double-rough-walled fracture model to represent the natural geometries of rough fractures. The surface is generated using modified successive random additions (SRA) algorithm and aperture distribution during shearing calculated mechanistic model. shear-flow simulations are performed by directly solving Navier-Stokes (NS) equations. results show that can improve accuracy fluid flow approximately 14.99%–19.77%, compared with commonly used single-rough-walled ratio rate...

Abstract The ocean, as the Earth's largest yet underexploited energy reservoir, harbors immense potential for development. However, low‐frequency and low‐amplitude characteristics of oceanic waves pose significant limitations on harvesting efficiency electromagnetic generators. In contrast, advanced triboelectric nanogenerators exhibit distinct advantages in converting mechanical motion into electrical energy. This review systematically summarizes latest developments nanogenerator (TENG)...

Several baryons containing a heavy b-quark, the b-baryons, have been discovered. The charmless two-body decays of b-baryons can provide new platform for $CP$ violating studies in similar way provided by B-meson. There are observables related to baryon polarization b-baryon decays. We show that flavor $SU(3)$ limit, there exists relations involving different combinations decay amplitudes compared with those rate asymmetry. Based on a sample of 225.3 million J/ψ events accumulated with the BESIII detector at BEPCII, decays η′→π+π−l+l− are studied via J/ψ→γη′. A clear η′ signal is observed in π+π−e+e− mass spectrum, and branching fraction measured to be B(η′→π+π−e+e−)=(2.11±0.12(stat)±0.14(syst))×10−3, which good agreement theoretical predictions previous measurement, but determined much higher precision. A coupling of a dark photon $A'$ from $U(1)_{A'}$ with the standard model (SM) particles can be generated through kinetic mixing represented by parameter $\epsilon$. non-zero $\epsilon$ also induces between and $Z$ if mass $m_{A'}$ is not zero. This large when close to $m_Z$ even small. Many efforts have been made constrain for low compared boson $m_Z$. We study search in $e^+e^- \to \gamma A' \mu^+ \mu^-$ as kinematically allowed at future $e^+e^-$ colliders. For $m_{A'}$, care should taken...

A new U(1)X gauge boson field X can have renormalizable kinetic mixing with the standard model (SM) U(1)Y Y. This induces interactions of SM particles even though starts as a dark photon without such interactions. If is not broken, both and are massless.
