We report the development of new 4-beam, 2-polarization, 2-sideband, 100 GHz band SIS receiver "FOREST" (FOur beam REceiver System on 45-m Telescope) and results from commissioning observations Nobeyama Telescope operated by Radio Observatory, a branch National Astronomical Observatory Japan. FOREST aims to add capabilities large-area mapping simultaneous multi-line observation at 80 { 116 Telescope, which is one largest millimeter radio telescopes in world. The Japanese Guideline for Childhood Asthma (JGCA) 2020 is a translation of the Pediatric Treatment and Management (JPGL) 2017 into English, which was published by Society Allergy Clinical Immunology. It makes recommendations best practices in management childhood asthma, including acute exacerbations non-pharmacological pharmacological management. These guidelines will be interest to non-specialist physicians involved care children with asthma. In JPGL, JPGL2017 first evidence-based updated...

To investigate the midterm results after zone 0 arch repair with frozen elephant trunks for acute type A aortic dissection.Between October 2014 and April 2021, 196 patients underwent dissection. The true lumen area, false status were assessed at four levels, proximal distal descending thoracic aorta (level level B, respectively), celiac artery branching C), terminal D). Aortic remodeling (postoperative area as a percentage of preoperative area) was classified into 3 groups, positive (true...

Pancreatic cysts have been reported in cases with autoimmune pancreatitis (AIP) and are often treated by corticosteroid; however, their response to steroid has not determined fully. We aimed see the incidence of pancreatic features without proper AIP.Fifty-eight AIP were analyzed for associated factors cystic lesions (≥ 10 mm). Of these, 47 cases, response, retrospectively investigated cyst change corticosteroid therapy. At initial diagnosis, 17 recognized 13 (22.4%) AIP, an average size 30...

Central MessageAortic remodeling mismatch between the stent-covered and nonstent-covered aorta may be a risk factor of late distal stent graft-induced new entry after frozen elephant trunk deployment.See Commentaries on pages 49 51. Aortic deployment. See The mechanisms behind developing (dSINE) are complex. Stent graft oversizing, spring-back force, pathological aortic wall fragility have been main factors associated with dSINE.1Jang H. Kim M.D. G.M. Won J.Y. Ko Y.G. Choi D. et al.Risk for...

Favipiravir, an antiviral agent, is undergoing clinical trials for treating novel coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). Here, we report two cases of COVID-19 with favipiravir-induced fever. In both cases, pyrexia was observed following the administration favipiravir despite improvements in symptoms COVID-19. No other cause fever evident after careful physical examination and laboratory investigation. The subsided patients discontinuation favipiravir. To best our knowledge, this first patients.

Abstract Introduction: Magnetic resonance (MR) relaxometry provides a noninvasive predictive tool to discriminate between benign ovarian endometrioma (OE) and endometriosis-associated cancer (EAOC). Transverse relaxation rate R2 value was determined using single-voxel, multi-echo MR sequence (HISTO) by 3T-MR system. with cutoff of 12.1 s −1 established malignant tumors. Patient concerns: We present case 39-year-old woman who initially thought be transformation endometriosis diagnostic...

We describe a case of frozen elephant trunk deployment unintentionally malpositioned into the false lumen. An 83-year-old man underwent total arch repair with for type A acute aortic dissection complicated by mesenteric malperfusion. However, intraoperative transesophageal echocardiography showed expansion lumen in descending aorta, suggesting Endovascular fenestration dissecting flap and subsequent endograft from inside graft to true aorta was successfully performed under intravascular...

Abstract A 15‐year‐old boy was referred to our hospital with elevated hepatobiliary enzyme levels and jaundice. Magnetic resonance cholangiopancreatography performed at the previous medical facility revealed a stricture of intrahepatic extrahepatic bile duct. Computed tomography showed dilatation wall thickness ducts. Primary sclerosing cholangitis or cholangiocarcinoma suspected. BackgroundTo determine the optimal timing of thoracic endovascular aortic repair (TEVAR) for acute type B dissection (TBAD), we investigated relationship between TEVAR after onset and late remodeling.MethodsBetween March 2015 August 2020, 48 patients with TBAD (39 men [81.2%]; aged 61.0 ± 10.6 years) underwent in phase (within 14 days; n = 23), subacute (15-90 13), or chronic (>90 12). These 3 groups were compared terms true lumen (TL) area ratios, calculated by dividing TL on computed...

Abstract Background Left atrial dissection is a rare complication of cardiac surgery, most commonly associated with mitral valve surgery. Herein, we report on the successful conservative treatment left while avoiding anticoagulation therapy. Case presentation A 64-year-old man developed during operation for acute type aortic dissection, likely due to retrograde cardioplegia cannulation. As there was no connection between cavity and atrium enhanced computed tomography, did not administer...
