We present the measurement of transverse single-spin asymmetry weak boson production in transversely polarized proton-proton collisions at $\sqrt{s} = 500~\text{GeV}$ by STAR experiment RHIC. The measured observable is sensitive to Sivers function, one momentum dependent parton distribution functions, which predicted have opposite sign from that observed deep inelastic lepton-proton scattering. These data provide first experimental investigation non-universality fundamental our understanding QCD.
We present STAR measurements of strange hadron ($\mathrm{K}^{0}_{\mathrm S}$, $\Lambda$, $\overline{\Lambda}$, $\Xi^-$, $\overline{\Xi}^+$, $\Omega^-$, $\overline{\Omega}^+$, and $\phi$) production at mid-rapidity ($|y| < 0.5$) in Au+Au collisions $\sqrt{s_{_{\mathrm{NN}}}}$ = 7.7 - 39 GeV from the Beam Energy Scan Program Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider (RHIC). Transverse momentum spectra, averaged transverse mass, overall integrated yields these hadrons are presented versus centrality...
We report on the first measurement of charmed baryon Λ_{c}^{±} production at midrapidity (|y|<1) in Au+Au collisions sqrt[s_{NN}]=200 GeV collected by STAR experiment Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider. The Λ_{c}/D^{0} [denoting (Λ_{c}^{+}+Λ_{c}^{-})/(D^{0}+D[over ¯]^{0})] yield ratio is measured to be 1.08±0.16 (stat)±0.26 (sys) 0%-20% most central for transverse momentum (p_{T}) range 3<p_{T}<6 GeV/c. This significantly larger than pythia model calculations p+p collisions. ratio, as a...
We report the triton ($t$) production in mid-rapidity ($|y| <$ 0.5) Au+Au collisions at $\sqrt{s_\mathrm{NN}}$= 7.7--200 GeV measured by STAR experiment from first phase of beam energy scan Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider (RHIC). The nuclear compound yield ratio ($\mathrm{N}_t \times \mathrm{N}_p/\mathrm{N}_d^2$), which is predicted to be sensitive fluctuation local neutron density, observed decrease monotonically with increasing charged-particle multiplicity ($dN_{ch}/d\eta$) and follows a...
We report the beam energy and collision centrality dependence of fifth sixth order cumulants (C5, C6) factorial (κ5, κ6) net-proton proton number distributions, from center-of-mass (√sNN) 3 GeV to 200 Au+Au collisions at RHIC. Cumulant ratios (taken as proxy for net-baryon) distributions generally follow hierarchy expected QCD thermodynamics, except case GeV. The measured values C6/C2 0%–40% show progressively negative trend with decreasing energy, while it is positive lowest studied. These...
The elliptic (${v}_{2}$) and triangular (${v}_{3}$) azimuthal anisotropy coefficients in central $^{3}\mathrm{He}+\mathrm{Au}$, $d+\mathrm{Au}$, $p+\mathrm{Au}$ collisions at $\sqrt{{s}_{\mathrm{NN}}}=200\text{ }\text{ }\mathrm{GeV}$ are measured as a function of transverse momentum (${p}_{T}$) midrapidity ($|\ensuremath{\eta}|<0.9$), via the angular correlation between two particles both $|\ensuremath{\eta}|<0.9$. While ${v}_{2}({p}_{T})$ values depend on colliding systems,...
We present measurements of second-order azimuthal anisotropy $({v}_{2})$ at midrapidity $(|y|<1.0)$ for light nuclei $d,\phantom{\rule{0.16em}{0ex}}t,\phantom{\rule{0.16em}{0ex}}^{3}\mathrm{He}$ (for $\sqrt{{s}_{NN}}=200$, 62.4, 39, 27, 19.6, 11.5, and 7.7 GeV) antinuclei $\overline{d}$ ($\sqrt{{s}_{NN}}=200$, 19.6 $^{3}\overline{\mathrm{He}}$ ($\sqrt{{s}_{NN}}=200$ in the STAR (Solenoidal Tracker RHIC) experiment. The ${v}_{2}$ these produced heavy-ion collisions is compared with those $p$...
Abstract Therapeutic strategies are urgently needed for patients with acute myeloid leukemia (AML). Leukocyte immunoglobulin-like receptor B4 (LILRB4), which suppresses T-cell activation and supports tissue infiltration of AML cells, represents an attractive drug target anti-AML therapeutics. Here, we report the identification development LILRB4-specific humanized mAb that blocks LILRB4 activation. This mAb, h128-3, showed potent activity in blocking monocytic various models including...
We present results from a harmonic decomposition of two-particle azimuthal correlations measured with the STAR detector in Au+Au collisions for energies ranging $\sqrt{s_{NN}}=7.7$ GeV to 200 GeV. The third $v_3^2\{2\}=\langle \cos3(\phi_1-\phi_2)\rangle$, where $\phi_1-\phi_2$ is angular difference azimuth, studied as function pseudorapidity between particle pairs $\Delta\eta = \eta_1-\eta_2$. Non-zero {\vthree} directly related previously observed large-$\Delta\eta$ narrow-$\Delta\phi$...
Soil is the bearing centre of terrestrial ecosystems. Oil pollution leads to changes in physical and chemical properties soil varying degrees. Polluted soils form a unique microbial species composition, which provides rich materials for bioremediation oil-contaminated through biological enhancement. Understanding composition petroleum-contaminated can provide better method remediation. Based on this, 16 S rRNA ITS genetic markers were used analyse bacterial fungal microbiota soil, their...

We report a measurement of exclusive J/ψ and ψ(2s) photoproduction in Au+Au ultraperipheral collisions at sNN=200 GeV using the STAR detector. For first time, (i) midrapidity Relativistic Heavy-Ion Collider has been experimentally measured; (ii) nuclear suppression factors are measured for both coherent incoherent production. At average photon-nucleon center-of-mass energy 25.0 GeV, cross sections Au nuclei found to be 71±10% 36±7%, respectively, that free protons. The stronger observed...
We present measurements of $\mathrm{\ensuremath{\Omega}}$ and $\ensuremath{\phi}$ production at midrapidity from Au+Au collisions nucleon-nucleon center-of-mass energies $\sqrt{{s}_{NN}}=7.7, 11.5, 19.6$, 27, 39 GeV by the STAR experiment BNL Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider (RHIC). Motivated coalescence formation mechanism for these strange hadrons, we study ratios $N({\mathrm{\ensuremath{\Omega}}}^{\ensuremath{-}}+{\overline{\mathrm{\ensuremath{\Omega}}}}^{+})/[2N(\ensuremath{\phi})]$....
Azimuthal correlations of charged hadrons with direct-photon ($γ_{dir}$) and neutral-pion ($π^{0}$) trigger particles are analyzed in central Au+Au minimum-bias $p+p$ collisions at $\sqrt{s_{_{NN}}} = 200$ GeV the STAR experiment. The charged-hadron per-trigger yields mid-rapidity from compared to quantify suppression collisions. away-side associated-particle per $γ_{dir}$ is independent transverse momentum particle ($p_{T}^{\mathrm{trig}}$), whereas smaller low associated...
We report the first measurement of inclusive jet and dijet longitudinal double-spin asymmetries, $A_{LL}$, at midrapidity in polarized $pp$ collisions a center-of-mass energy $\sqrt{s} = 510$ GeV. The $A_{LL}$ is sensitive to gluon helicity distribution down momentum fraction $x\approx 0.015$, while measurements, separated into four jet-pair topologies, provide constraints on $x$ dependence polarization. Both results are consistent with previous measurements made $\sqrt{s}= 200$ GeV...

In relativistic heavy-ion collisions, a global spin polarization, $P_\mathrm{H}$, of $\Lambda$ and $\bar{\Lambda}$ hyperons along the direction system angular momentum was discovered measured across broad range collision energies demonstrated trend increasing $P_\mathrm{H}$ with decreasing $\sqrt{s_{\rm NN}}$. A splitting between polarization may be possible due to their different magnetic moments in late-stage field sustained by quark-gluon plasma which is formed collision. The results...
