At sufficiently high temperature and energy density, nuclear matter undergoes a transition to phase in which quarks gluons are not confined: the Quark-Gluon Plasma (QGP) [1]. Such an extreme state of strongly-interacting QCD (Quantum Chromo-Dynamics) is produced laboratory with high-energy collisions heavy nuclei, where enhanced production strange hadrons observed [2-6]. Strangeness enhancement, originally proposed as signature QGP formation [7], more pronounced for multi-strange baryons....
The pseudorapidity density of charged particles ($\mathrm{d}N_\mathrm{ch}/\mathrm{d}\eta$) at mid-rapidity in Pb-Pb collisions has been measured a center-of-mass energy per nucleon pair $\sqrt{s_{\rm NN}}$ = 5.02 TeV. It increases with centrality and reaches value $1943 \pm 54$ $|\eta|<0.5$ for the 5% most central collisions. A rise $\mathrm{d}N_\mathrm{ch}/\mathrm{d}\eta$ as function is observed, steeper than that observed proton-proton following trend established by measurements lower...
We report the measurements of correlations between event-by-event fluctuations amplitudes anisotropic flow harmonics in nucleus-nucleus collisions, obtained for first time using a new analysis method based on multiparticle cumulants mixed harmonics. This novel is robust against systematic biases originating from nonflow effects and by construction any dependence symmetry planes eliminated. demonstrate that exhibit better sensitivity to medium properties than individual The are performed...

Remarkably, measured nuclear modification factor rapidity range $2.5<y<4$ reaches about 7 (2) ${p}_{T}$ $0--0.3\text{ }\mathrm{GeV}/c$ 70%--90% (50%--70%) centrality class. We present the charged-particle pseudorapidity density in Pb–Pb collisions at sNN=5.02TeV centrality classes measured by ALICE. The measurement covers a wide range from −3.5 to 5, which is sufficient for reliable estimates of total number charged particles produced collisions. For most central (0–5%) we find 21400±1300, while peripheral (80–90%) 230±38. This corresponds an increase (27±4)% over results sNN=2.76TeV previously reported energy dependence heavy-ion found obey modified power-law...
Employing the Bonn–Gatchina partial wave analysis framework (PWA), we have analyzed HADES data of reaction p(3.5GeV)+p→pK+Λ. This might contain information about kaonic cluster "ppK−" (with quantum numbers JP=0− and total isospin I=1/2) via its decay into pΛ. Due to interference effects in our coherent description data, a hypothetical K‾NN (or, specifically "ppK−") signal need not necessarily show up as pronounced feature (e.g. peak) an invariant mass spectrum like Our PWA includes variety...

We report a precise measurement of the J/ψ elliptic flow in Pb-Pb collisions at sqrt[s_{NN}]=5.02 TeV with ALICE detector LHC. The mesons are reconstructed midrapidity (|y|<0.9) dielectron decay channel and forward rapidity (2.5<y<4.0) dimuon channel, both down to zero transverse momentum. At rapidity, v_{2} is studied as function momentum centrality. A positive observed range 2<p_{T}<8 GeV/c three centrality classes confirms higher statistics our earlier results sqrt[s_{NN}]=2.76...

We present a new analysis framework called "Correlation Analysis Tool using the Schr\"odinger equation" (CATS) which computes two-particle femtoscopy correlation function $C(k)$, with $k$ being relative momentum for particle pair. Any local interaction potential and emission source can be used as an input wave is evaluated exactly. In this paper we study on sensitivity of $C(k)$ to different pairs: p-p, p-$\mathrm{\Lambda}$, $\mathrm{K^-}$-p, $\mathrm{K^+}$-p, p-$\mathrm{\Xi}^-$...
