Background— The mechanism(s) for acute changes in electrophysiological properties of the atria during rapid pacing induced atrial fibrillation (AF) is not completely understood. We sought to evaluate contribution intrinsic cardiac autonomic nervous system electrical remodeling and AF by 6-hour pacing. Methods Results— Continuous (1200 bpm, 2 threshold [TH]) was performed at left appendage. Group 1 (n=7) underwent immediately followed ganglionated plexi (GP) ablation; group 2 GP ablation...

RET fusions have been found in lung adenocarcinoma, of which KIF5B-RET is the most prevalent. We established inducible transgenic mice and KIF5B-RET-dependent cell lines for preclinical modeling KIF5B-RET-associated adenocarcinoma. Doxycycline-induced CCSP-rtTA/tetO-KIF5B-RET developed invasive adenocarcinoma with desmoplastic reaction. Tumors regressed upon suppression expression.
