Root Knot Nematode (Meloidogyne incognita) is a major agricultural pest that significantly reduces crop yield. This study investigates the nematicidal potential of Bradyrhizobium japonicum strain 11477 against M. incognita to regulate its pathogenicity in Solanum lycopersicum. Tomato seeds were treated with bacterial cells and supernatant, grown under controlled conditions later infested nematode juveniles (5J2/seedling). After 10 days, infestation led reduced seedling growth, lower root...

The purpose of the current study, conducted in Rohru Forest Division between year 2019 and 2020, was to examine phytosociological natural regeneration status Rhododendron campanulatum D. Don at various altitudinal ranges aspects Dodra Kwar Khashdhar Range (Rohru Division). Three elevation zones were used categorize study area: E1 =3000-3200 m, E2 =3200-3400 m E3 =above 3400 both northern southern aspects. characteristics for trees shrubs each aspect studied by establishing three sample...

To understand the spread of SARS-CoV2, in August and September 2020, Council Scientific Industrial Research (India) conducted a serosurvey across its constituent laboratories centers India. Of 10,427 volunteers, 1058 (10.14%) tested positive for SARS-CoV2 anti-nucleocapsid (anti-NC) antibodies, 95% which had surrogate neutralization activity. Three-fourth these recalled no symptoms. Repeat serology tests at 3 (n = 607) 6 175) months showed stable anti-NC antibodies but declining Local...

Phytopathogens have negative impact on crop growth and production. Biological control of plant pathogens, is a safer alternative to chemical treatments, may also provide additional advantages through plant-growth promotion activities. Recently, endophytes received due attention be used as biocontrol agents promoters. The present study was designed determine the antagonistic potential endophytic fungi isolated from Dysoxylum gotadhora (Buch. Ham.) Mabb. against soil borne phytopathogens,...
