Objective Type 1 interferons (IFNs) have been identified as potentially important measures of disease activity in Juvenile Dermatomyositis (JDM). An Interferon Response Gene-score (IRG-score) has defined using NanoString technology and appears to correlate with cross-sectional samples JDM patients. This study aimed determine if there is evidence a correlation between IRG-score, patients JDM, both early course longitudinally. Methods All attending clinic SickKids were approached enrol the...

Abstract Background Patient reported outcome measures (PROMs) provide valuable insight on patients’ well-being and facilitates communication between healthcare providers their patients. The increased integration of the technology within setting presents opportunity to collect PROMs electronically, rather than paper. Childhood Health Assessment Questionnaire (CHAQ) Quality My Life (QoML) are common collected from pediatric rheumatology objectives this study (a) determine equivalence paper...

Abstract Aggressive fibromatosis (also called desmoid tumor) is a benign, locally invasive, soft tissue tumor composed of cells with mesenchymal characteristics. These tumors are characterized by increased levels β-catenin–mediated T-cell factor (TCF)–dependent transcriptional activation. We found that type 1 IFN signaling activated in human and murine aggressive the expression associated response genes regulated β-catenin. When mice deficient for receptor (Ifnar1−/−) were crossed...
