In response to the outbreak of COVID-19, we set up a team carry out sampling in community. This enabled individuals remain self-isolation their own homes and prevent healthcare settings services from being overwhelmed by admissions for suspected cases. The barium enemas of 119 patients with colorectal cancer and age-matched controls were examined for evidence diverticula. Amongst men, 39.6% had diverticulosis, compared 50% in the control group.
