We present a model for spike-driven dynamics of plastic synapse, suited VLSI implementation. The synaptic device behaves as capacitor on short timescales and preserves the memory two stable states (efficacies) long timescales. transitions (LTP/LTD) are stochastic because both number distribution neural spikes in any finite (stimulation) interval fluctuate, even at fixed pre- postsynaptic spike rates. single synapse is studied analytically by extending solution to classic problem queuing...
Electronic neuromorphic devices with on-chip, on-line learning should be able to modify quickly the synaptic couplings acquire information about new patterns stored (synaptic plasticity) and, at same time, preserve this on very long time scales stability). Here, we illustrate electronic implementation of a simple solution stability-plasticity problem, recently proposed and studied in various contexts. It is based observation that reducing analog depth synapses extreme (bistable synapses)...
The existence of a light dark force mediator has been tested with the KLOE detector at DAPHNE. This particle, called U, is searched for using decay chain phi-->etaU, eta-->pi+pi-pi0, U-->e+e-. No evidence found in 1.5 fb-1 data. resulting exclusion plot covers mass range 5
Abstract High-energy, long gamma-ray bursts (GRBs) can be generated by the core collapse of massive stars at end their lives. When they happen in close-by universe exceptionally bright, as seen from Earth case recent, giant, long-lasting GRB221009A. GRB221009A was produced a collapsing star with redshift 0.152: this event observed many space experiments, which also detected an extraordinary afterglow. The large fluence prompt emission about 0.013 erg cm −2 illuminated geographical region...
Abstract Time-dependent energy spectra of galactic cosmic rays (GCRs) carry crucial information regarding their origin and propagation throughout the interstellar environment. When observed at Earth, after traversing interplanetary medium, such are heavily affected by solar wind embedded magnetic field permeating inner sectors heliosphere. The activity Sun changes significantly over an 11 yr cycle—and so does effect on particles; this translates into a phenomenon called modulation. Moreover,...
The aim of this work is to validate the China Seismo-Electromagnetic Satellite 01 (CSES-01) Electric Field Detector (EFD) measurements through analysis instrument response various inputs: (a) geomagnetic field variations, (b) plasma density depletions, and (c) electromagnetic signals from natural artificial sources such as Schumann resonance VLF (Very Low Frequency) antennas. knowledge induced electric vs×B (where vs satellite speed B local magnetic field), variations effect, described by...
We have carried out a new direct search for the CP violating decay KS -> 3pi0 with 1.7 fb^-1 of e+e- collisions collected by KLOE detector at phi-factory DAFNE. searched this in sample about 5.9 x 10^8 KL events tagging means interaction calorimeter and requiring six prompt photons. With respect to our previous search, analysis has been improved increasing factor four tagged more effective background rejection fake tags spurious clusters. find no candidates data simulated samples, while...
We illustrate key features of an analog, VLSI (aVLSI) chip implementing a network composed 32 integrate-and-fire (IF) neurons with firing rate adaptation (AHP current), endowed both recurrent synaptic connectivity and AER-based external, AER-compliant devices. Synaptic can be reconfigured at will as for the presence/absence each contact excitatory/inhibitory nature synapse. Excitatory synapses are plastic through spike-driven stochastic, Hebbian mechanism, possess self-limiting mechanism...
We present a measurement of {\eta} meson production in photon-photon interactions produced by electron-positron beams colliding with \sqrt{s}=1 GeV. We describe and discuss an electronic implementation of attractor neural network with plastic synapses. The undergoes double dynamics, for the neurons as well Both dynamical processes are unsupervised. synaptic dynamics is autonomous, in that it driven exclusively perpetually by activities. latter follow activity via developing synapses influence external stimuli. Such a self-organizes device which converts gross statistical characteristics stimulus input stream into set attractors...

We report on microwave emission from linear parallel arrays of underdamped Josephson junctions, which are described by the Frenkel-Kontorova (FK) model. Electromagnetic radiation is detected when biased current singularities (steps) appearing at voltages V(n)=Φ(0)(nc̅/L), where Φ(0)=2.07×10(-15) Wb magnetic flux quantum, and c̅, L, n are, respectively, speed light in transmission line embedding array, L its physical length, an integer. The radiation, fundamental frequency c̅/2L different...
