Abstract Background The Norwegian Mother, Father, and Child Cohort Study (MoBa) is a population-based pregnancy cohort, which includes approximately 114,500 children, 95,200 mothers, 75,200 fathers. Genotyping of MoBa has been conducted through multiple research projects, spanning several years; using varying selection criteria, genotyping arrays, centres. contains numerous interrelated families, necessitated the implementation family-based quality control (QC) pipeline that verifies...

This letter proposes a simple and novel method for mitigating inter-symbol interference (ISI) in molecular communication via diffusion (MCvD). In MCvD applications, the messenger molecules released from transmitter need some time to reach receiver. Therefore, absorbed at beginning of transmission interval can only belong previous transmissions. if receiver shifts its absorption interval, ISI be potentially reduced. We find optimal delay that both numerically analytically minimize channel....

Molecular Communication via Diffusion (MCvD) is a prominent small-scale technology, which roots from the nature. With solid analytical foundations on channel response and advanced modulation techniques, molecular single-input-single-output (SISO) systems are one of most studied networks in literature. However, literature yet to provide sufficient modeling multiple-output with fully absorbing receivers, common applications area. In this paper, model for single-input-multiple-output (SIMO)...

In this paper, the impulse response for a 3-D microfluidic channel in presence of Poiseuille flow is obtained by solving diffusion equation radial coordinates. Using distribution, axial distribution then approximated accordingly. Since velocity changes with position, molecules have different properties distributions. We, therefore, present piecewise function considering distribution. Finally, we lay evidence our theoretical derivations and through comparing them using various Monte Carlo simulations.
