High-frequency oscillations (HFOs) are a promising biomarker for the epileptogenic zone. It has not been possible, however, to differentiate physiological from pathological HFOs, and baseline rates of HFO occurrence vary substantially across brain regions. This project establishes region-specific normative values HFOs high-frequency activity (HFA).Intracerebral stereo-encephalographic recordings with channels displaying normal nonlesional tissue were selected 2 tertiary epilepsy centers....

Aerosols resulting from the combustion of acetylene, wood, and JP-4 aviation fuels have been characterized in both laboratory larger field scales by activity as cloud condensation nuclei (CCN), total particle or (CN) count, ion chromatography (IC) on filter samples, morphology scanning electron microscopy. The CCN / CN ratio for a given aerosol sample is quantitative indicator ability to become involved atmospheric removal nucleation scavenging. On scales, this was range 0.2–1.0 wood...

Abstract The transport of reactive trace gases by stationary planetary scale waves has been investigated with the aid Matsuno's wave model (1970) and linear eddy equation derived from tracer continuity equation. It is shown that, for fluxes, K‐theory fields, as introduced Reed German (1965), may be defined. These become matrix fields when photochemical coupling effects are considered. flux a particular gas related to gradients mean concentrations other chemically coupled gases, well its own...

When droplets of various sizes were separated from sample, consistent relationship between cloud size and nucleus Sc was discovered—large tend to grow large (low Sc) vice versa. Interpretation in terms modes mixing dry environment demonstrates homogeneous process.
