Abstract Peri‐implant infections have been reported as one of the major complications that lead to failure orthopedic implants. An ideal solution peri‐implant infection is locally deliver antimicrobial agents through implant surface. The rising problem caused by multiple antibiotic‐resistant bacteria makes traditional antibiotics less desirable for prevention infections. One promising alternatives family peptides (AMPs). In this study, we report local delivery AMPs nanotubular structure...

Cancer cachexia is a kind of whole-body metabolic disorder syndrome accompanied by severe wasting muscle tissue in which cancer exosomes may be involved. Analysis clinical samples showed that the serum exosome concentrations were correlated with development cachexia. Exosomes secreted C26 cells could decrease diameter C2C12 myotubes vitro and mouse strength tibialis anterior (TA) weight vivo. GW4869, an inhibitor excretion, ameliorated tumor-bearing mice. MicroRNA (miRNA) sequencing...

Abstract Background Cancer cachexia is a multifactorial debilitating syndrome that directly accounts for more than 20% of cancer deaths while there no effective therapeutic approach treatment cachexia. Carnosol (CS) bioactive diterpene compound present in Lamiaceae spp., which has been demonstrated to have antioxidant, anti‐inflammatory, and anticancer properties. But its effects on the possible mechanism remain mystery. Methods The vitro cell models C2C12 myotube atrophy 3T3‐L1 mature...

Objective:
Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), the main type of liver cancer, has a high morbidity and mortality, poor prognosis. RNA helicase DDX5, which acts as transcriptional co-regulator, is overexpressed in most malignant tumors promotes cancer cell growth. Heat shock protein 90 (HSP90) an important molecular chaperone conformational maturation stabilization numerous proteins involved growth or survival.
Methods:
DDX5 mRNA expression surgically resected HCC tissues from...

Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is a common cause of cancer mortality worldwide. Recent studies have shown that the polytopic enzyme membrane associated ring-CH-type finger 6 (MARCH6) participates in tumorigenesis, but its function HCC development needs to be investigated. This study aimed explore role MARCH6 HCC.Expression human samples was checked by immunohistochemical staining assay. Clinical relevance and activating transcription factor 2 (ATF2) analyzed from TCGA database. CCK-8, EdU...

A novel cool plasma surface activation method has been developed for high quality SOI/SDB (Silicon wafer Direct Bonding) preparation. The effectiveness of different gases, espetially O 2 plsma gases were investigated. measurements H. V-PMOS and L.V.-NMOS devices made on the a bulk Silicon indicate that ratios electron hole mobility SOI to those are 0.92 0.88., respectively. It was proved our substrate produced by SDB is device level quality.

Cancer-associated cachexia (CAC) is a severe metabolic disorder syndrome mainly characterized by muscle and fat loss, which accounts for one-third of cancer-related deaths. No effective therapeutic approach that could fully reverse CAC available. NF-κB signaling oxidative stress play vital roles in both atrophy loss CAC. Here, we showed our developed oral compound Z526 exhibited potent anti-CAC efficacy inhibiting ameliorating stress. In vitro, alleviated C2C12 myotube 3T3-L1 adipocyte...
