Donation after circulatory death (DCD) liver transplantation (LT) reportedly yields inferior survival and increased complication rates compared with donation brain (DBD). We compare 100 consecutive DCD LT using a protocol that includes thrombolytic therapy (late group) to an historical group (early n = 38) cohort of DBD recipients (DBD 435). Late had better 1- 3-year graft than early (92% vs. 76.3%, p 0.03 91.4% 73.7%, 0.01). were comparable those the 93.3%, 0.24 88.2%, 0.62)....

Abstract Background Appendicitis is the most common abdominal surgical emergency worldwide. Differences between high- and low-income settings in availability of laparoscopic appendectomy, alternative management choices, outcomes are poorly described. The aim was to identify variation appendicitis within low-, middle-, high-Human Development Index (HDI) countries Methods This a multicenter, international prospective cohort study. Consecutive sampling patients undergoing appendectomy over 6...

In this article, a graphene-based multilayered surface plasmon resonance (SPR) biosensor of (BK 7 /WS 2 /Au/BaTiO 3 /Graphene) is proposed for the rapid detection novel coronavirus (COVID-19). The SPR designed based on angular interrogation attenuated total reflection (ATR) method COVID-19 virus. sensor’s polaritons (SPPs) and sensing region refractive index (RI) are changed, owing to interaction various concentrated ligand-analytes. specific ligand mechanized with sensor target analyte that...

Extracelluar matrix (ECM) proteins create complex networks of macromolecules which fill-in the extracellular spaces living tissues. They provide structural support and play an important role in maintaining cellular functions. Identification ECM can a vital studying various types diseases. Conventional wet lab–based methods are reliable; however, they expensive time consuming are, therefore, not scalable. In this research, we propose sequence-based novel machine learning approach for...
