We have developed the first high-diffraction-efficiency two-dimensional (2-D) photonic crystals for molecular recognition and chemical sensing applications. prepared close-packed 2-D polystyrene particle arrays by self-assembly of spreading monolayers on mercury surfaces. The amazingly diffract 80% incident light. When a array was transferred onto hydrogel thin film showing volume change in response to specific analyte, spacing altered, shifting diffraction wavelength. These exhibit...

Abstract Purpose To investigate the mid‐to‐long term clinical outcomes of implant‐supported cross‐arch fixed dental prostheses (IFCDPs) with monolithic zirconia‐based frameworks and related risk factors success survival. Materials Methods This retrospective study encompassed individuals exhibiting terminal dentition or edentulism in maxilla and/or mandible who underwent treatment involving IFCDPs zirconia frameworks. Inclusion criteria required a documented follow‐up period at least five...

The role of ion flux in Si(100) nanostructuring by normal-incidence Ar+ sputtering has been studied. measured relationships the Si lateral dot size versus flux, surface roughness and sample temperature with fluxes 20 380 µA cm−2 all indicate that value is decisive for validity Bradley–Harper (BH) model semiconductor single crystals. In this work, energy 1.5 keV, it found only beyond ~220 BH well applicable, while below Ehrlich–Schwoebel (ES) one tends to be involved. Our results suggest ES...

Objectives: To improve the mouse model of relief for unilateral ureteral obstruction (RUUO) and explore pathological process renal fibrosis after was relieved. Methods: C57BL/6 mice in group were randomly divided into RUUO group, improved UUO group. After leaving Unilateral Ureteral Obstruction (UUO) 3 days, released by reimplantation way + catheter observation 1d 3d 7d 14d Three days UUO, four groups. We detected volume, H&E, Masson staining, immunohistochemistry kidney pathology on seventh...

In the present work, we developed an acousto-optic tunable filter near infrared (AOTF-NIR) reflectance spectroscopy method for determining tobacco constituents. The NIR spectra of 443 samples were collected using AOTF-NIR spectrometer. Calibration models total sugar, reducing nicotine and potassium in built by partial least squares (PLS) regression which R 2 0.984, 0.987, 0.988 0.920, respectively average relative standard deviations between predicted values measured 2.68%, 2.88%, 4.18%...

Different from the conventional current-voltage and capacitance-voltage methods, Schottky contact barrier height extraction by admittance measurement is proposed discussed in this paper. In method, can be simply extracted difference between measured at zero bias a reasonably high forward bias. Both simulation results experimental data demonstrate that method effective not only for of contacts with higher heights (>0.4eV) but also those moderately lower (0.2–0.4eV).

The nonlinear photoinduced anisotropy with large birefringence in a bacteriorhodopsin/polymer composite (bR/PC) film was observed. contrast ratio, ratio of the maximum to minimum intensity transmitted probe light through bR/PC within linear gray scale range could reach ∼350:1. An all-optical image display different colors performed. signal be modulated by adjusting multibeam polarization states and intensities. Therefore, positive image, negative erasure were demonstrated.

The relationship between circulating metabolites and sarcopenia-related phenotypes remains unclear. We explored the causality phenotypes. Instrumental variables for human metabolome were derived from recently published GWAS, which included 690 plasma metabolites. Summary statistics four sarcopenia (whole-body lean mass (WBLM), usual walking pace, appendicular (ALM), handgrip strength (HGS)) (both sexes, males females) obtained relevant GWASs. used MR to evaluate association Colocalization...
