Abstract A simple and efficient procedure for the synthesis of new optically active imidazolium triazolium ionic liquids in a three step reaction sequence is described. In first step, ring opening 1,2‐butylene oxide by imidazole or 1,2,4‐triazole resulted formation N ‐2‐hydroxybutylimidazole ‐2‐hydroxybutyl‐1,2,4‐triazole, respectively. second racemic mixtures secondary alcohols were resolved with good enantioselectivity lipase‐catalyzed transesterification enol esters (vinyl acetate...

Extracellular vesicles (EVs) are nanoparticles containing various bioactive cargos-e.g., proteins, RNAs, and lipids-that released into the environment by all cell types. They involved in, amongst other functions, intercellular communication. This article presents studies on EVs produced probiotic yeast Saccharomyces boulardii CNCM I-745. The size distribution concentration of in liquid culture were estimated. Moreover, S. tested for their cytotoxicity against three model human intestinal...

Atomic force microscopy (AFM) and fluorescence was applied to determine the influence of anti-aging peptides on morphology mechanical properties keratinocytes. Immortalized human keratinocytes (HaCaT) were treated with two bioactive peptides: Acetyl Tetrapeptide-2 Hexapeptide-50 (Lipotec). The AFM measurement keratinocyte stiffness carried after 48 h exposure at an indentation depth 200 nm. analysis showed increase cell for cells (P1) in concentration range. (P2) 0.05 µg/ml also increased...

Immunosensors based on gold electrodes (electrochemical) or discs (optical) modified with 1,6-hexanedithiol, nanorods and Anti-His (C-term) monoclonal antibody F(ab') fragment are described. The antigen detected by the sensing platform is a recombinant histidine-tagged silk proteinase inhibitor (rSPI2-His(6)). Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) surface plasmon resonance (SPR) techniques were used as methods for detection of antigen. This approach allows to detect protein in...

Racemic 1-(β-hydroxypropyl)azoles were prepared by solvent-free direct regioselective ring opening of 1,2-propylene oxide with imidazole or 1,2,4-triazole. Lipase-catalyzed transesterification alcohols vinyl acetate resulted in kinetic enantiomers resolution. Separated (S)-enantiomers (+)-1-(1H-imidazol-1-yl)propan-2-ol and (+)-1-(1H-1,2,4-triazol-1-yl)propan-2-ol quaternized alkyl bromides iodides, yielding novel optically active ionic liquids. salts tested against a wide range microorganisms.

This work was focused on biodegradation with Escherichia coli bacteria studies of PSF-PUR blend semipermeable hollow fiber membranes that possibly can undergo a partial degradation process. Hollow were obtained from polysulfone (PSF) and polyurethane (PUR) containing ester bonds in the polymer chain various weight ratios using two solvents: N,N-Dimethylmethanamide (DMF) or N-Methylpyrrolidone (NMP). The underwent process tested for changes ultrafiltration coefficient (UFC), retention cut-off...

An effective therapy for advanced melanoma, a skin cancer with the highest mortality, has not yet been developed. The endocannabinoid system is considered to be an attractive target treatment. use of endocannabinoids, such as anandamide (AEA), much greater than palliative agent. Thus, we checked its influence on various signaling pathways in melanoma cells. Our investigation was performed four commercial cell lines derived from different progression stages (radial WM35 and vertical WM115...

Exogenous proteinase inhibitors are valuable and economically interesting protective biotechnological tools. We examined whether small when fused to a selected target protein can protect the from proteolytic degradation without simultaneously affecting function activity of domain.
