Abstract Over-application of nitrogen fertilizer in fields has had a negative impact on both environment and human health. Domesticated rice varieties with high use efficiency (NUE) reduce for sustainable agriculture. Here, we perform genome-wide association analysis diverse population displaying extreme nitrogen-related phenotypes over three successive years the field, identify an elite haplotype nitrate transporter OsNPF6.1 HapB that enhances uptake confers NUE by increasing yield under...

Implantation of a mesh loaded with mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) is common approach for the treatment pelvic organ prolapse (POP). The provides effective support to floor, enhancing muscle contraction organs while reducing inflammation. In this study, fully degradable designed POP, utilizing MSCs stimulated by galvanic battery-powered electric field. bioelectronic consists two parts: cell film and porous hydrogel MSCs. battery has flexible substrate, on which Zinc Molybdenum electrodes form...

Although low-temperature storage could maintain the quality of fruits and vegetables, it may also result in chilling injury (CI) cold-sensitive produce, such as cucumbers. This can seriously affect their quality." The antioxidant capacity, energy metabolism proline cucumbers treated with hydrogen sulfide (H2S) were studied this assay. outcomes displayed that H2S treatment effectively reduced CI delayed increase electrolyte leakage (EL) malondialdehyde (MDA) content. In addition, H2S-treated...

Two extended Preyssler P5W30 polyoxometalate-based inorganic–organic hybrid materials exhibiting anion-induced supramolecular isomerism were reported. Because of the cis–trans in octahedral CoN2O4 coordination geometry, polyoxometalates are by double O–Co–O bridges 1α and a single bridge 1β to form isomeric 2D 4-connected 44-sql 3D 8-connected bcu networks, respectively. Both compounds show electrocatalytic abilities on reduction H2O2.

Summary Green and chemical‐free hot water (HW) treatment can effectively reduce the chilling injury of peach fruit; however, mechanism inducing resistance by heat is still unclear. This study found that HW could activate reactive oxygen species (ROS) signalling, forming ROS‐Ca 2+ signalling. Furthermore, we identified a Ca sensor, calcium‐dependent protein kinase 29 (PpCDPK29), as positive regulator postharvest resistance. PpCDPK29 interacted with ROS‐generating proteins (PpRBOHC/D)...
