Increasing soil salinization has led to severe losses of plant yield and quality. Thus, it is urgent investigate the molecular mechanism salt stress response. In this study, we took systematically analyzed cotton root response by single-cell transcriptomics technology; 56,281 high-quality cells were totally obtained from 5-days-old lateral tips Gossypium arboreum under natural growth different salt-treatment conditions. Ten cell types with an array novel marker genes synthetically identified...

Salinity stress impairs cotton growth and fiber quality. Protoplasts enable elucidation of early salt-responsive signaling. Elucidating crop tolerance mechanisms that ameliorate these diverse salinity-induced stresses is key for improving agricultural productivity under saline conditions. Herein, we performed transcriptome profiling Gossypium arboreum root tips tips-derived protoplasts to uncover salt genes mechanisms. Differentially expressed (DEGs) were significantly enriched in the plant...

BackgroundEtoposide, an inhibitor of the normal religation activity nuclear enzyme topoisomerase II, can induce a secondary acute myeloid leukemia characterized by site-specific DNA rearrangements. The schedule drug administration appears to be clinical risk factor for this devastating treatment complication.

Accurately quantifying soil organic carbon (SOC) is considered fundamental to studying quality, modeling the global cycle, and assessing climate change. This study evaluated uncertainties caused by up-scaling of properties from county scale provincial lower-level classification Soil Species Group, using four methods: mean, median, Profile Statistics (SPS), pedological professional knowledge based (PKB) methods. For SPS method, SOC stock calculated at multiplying mean density value each type...

Epidermal patterning factor / -like (EPF/EPFL) gene family encodes a class of cysteine-rich secretory peptides, which are widelyfound in terrestrial plants.Multiple studies has indicated that EPF/EPFLs might play significant roles coordinating plant development and growth, especially as the morphogenesis processes stoma, awn, stamen, fruit skin. However, few research on EPF/EPFL was reported Gossypium.

Recently designated as a new special economic zone in China, Zhoushan Archipelago is going through rapid land use change that expected to have significant impacts on ecosystem services. However, there no baseline of service value (ESV) the up date, making it impossible assess any changes. In this study, we adopted concept "equivalent per unit area services China" and computed ESV for 2006, 2012, 2020 representative district, Dinghai, Archipelago. We then analyzed spatial temporal patterns...

Tumor migration and invasion are key pathological processes that contribute to cell metastasis as well treatment failure in patients with malignant tumors. However, the mechanisms governing tumor remain poorly understood. By analyzing tumor-related database lines, we found preoptic regulatory factor-2 (Porf-2) is downexpressed both neuroblastoma glioma. Using vitro assays, our data demonstrated expression of Porf-2 inhibits glioma lines. Domain-mutated plasmids were then constructed, it was...
