Abstract Outer membrane vesicles (OMVs) can function as nanoscale vectors that mediate bacterial interactions in microbial communities. How bacteria recognize and recruit OMVs inter-specifically remains largely unknown, thus limiting our understanding of the complex physiological ecological roles OMVs. Here, we report a ligand-receptor interaction-based OMV recruitment mechanism, consisting type VI secretion system (T6SS)-secreted lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-binding effector TeoL outer...

It recently demonstrated associated increased concentrations intracellular free zinc ions an vitro model glutamate-induced hippocampal neuronal excitotoxic damage. However, there is still lack research on effects different developmental convulsive brain injury. The aim this study to investigate neurobehavioral...

Abstract Bacteria have evolved multiple secretion systems for delivering effector proteins into the cytosol of neighboring cells, but roles many these effectors remain unknown. Here, we show that Yersinia pseudotuberculosis secretes an effector, CccR, can act both as a toxin and transcriptional factor. The is secreted by type VI system (T6SS) enter nearby cells same species other (such Escherichia coli ) via cell-cell contact in contact-independent manner. CccR contains N-terminal FIC domain...

Docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) is important for optimal neurodevelopment and brain function during the childhood when still under development. The effects of DHA-Phosphatidylcholine (DHA-PC) recombination DHA-Triglyceride with egg PC (DHA-TG + PC) or α-Glycerylphosphorylcholine α-GPC) were comparatively analyzed on DHA recovery accumulation kinetics in tissues including cerebral cortex, erythrocyte, liver, testis evaluated weaning n-3 deficient mice. concentration mice could be recovered rapidly...

Price discount is an important research topic in the field of inventory management. The existing on this mainly considers fixed price discount, but ignores situation which stochastic short-term may be involved. In paper, we study problem considering and partial backordering. To address problem, propose optimal replenishment stocking model to maximise retailers' profit. After that, a cost–benefit analysis-based heuristic method for solving developed presented by two scenarios depending...
