In this study, the volatile fingerprints of GC-IMS showed great differences on profiles Molixiang grapes collected from three different regions China, which suggested that aroma table could be largely impacted by origin areas. Butyl lactate, E-2-octenal and Z-2-pentanol were mainly contained in MLX-A, sampled Ningbo, China. High contents p-cymene, styrene γ-terpinene observed MLX-B Beizhen, addition, benzaldehyde methyl benzoate major MLX-C Zhangzhou, The PCA results revealed effective...

Peptides have been used as flavors for decades, however, their tasting mechanism remains not entirely clear. In the present work, 10 kokumi peptides identified in yeast extracts were selected ligands. Their binding to calcium-sensitive receptors (CaSR) investigated at molecular level by using docking and dynamics simulations. The results showed that all could bind CaSR form complexes, of which γ-Glu-Cys-Gly (GSH), γ-Glu-Leu (EL) γ-Glu-Tyr (EY) being top 3 with higher affinity. Arg66, Ser147...

Cellulose-based materials are vulnerable to moisture and microorganisms thus lose their original mechanical properties durability; meanwhile, self-cleaning technique as a disruptive nanotechnology of waterproofing is attracting tremendous interest. Here, we develop facile, cheap, scalable "top-down" strategy fabricate transparent surface for cellulose-based by spray-coating stable emulsion nano-SiO2 particles. The nanoparticles precisely synthesized at an average diameter ∼110 nm via sol–gel...

Abstract Damascus rose (DR) is an important economic crop. In recent years, DR has been widely planted and utilized in China. order to improve its aroma quality, the volatile releasing regularities of need be studied. Therefore, HS‐GC‐IMS were used examine style release under three flowering states: pre‐bloom (PB), half‐bloom (HB) full bloom (FB). The results show that detected 56 compounds investigate changes states during growth period. PCA showed substances obvious stage DR. addition, FB...

ABSTRACT High concentrations of pigment powders present significant challenges for dispersion stability in cosmetic formulations, the iron oxide yellow paste may lead to flocculation, reducing its stability. This study employed octenyl succinate starch (OSA starch) and Arabic gum (AG) as composite wall materials encapsulate optimize system water‐soluble powders. Transmission electron microscopy (TEM) scanning (SEM) confirmed formation a well‐structured microcapsule, significantly smaller...
