In this article, a series of betulinic acid derivatives (3a∼3u, 4a∼4e) were synthesized through stepwise structure optimization and evaluated for their anti-α-glucosidase activities. All exhibited stronger activities (IC50: 0.56 ± 0.05 ∼ 3.99 0.23 μM) than 7.21 0.58 acarbose 611.45 15.51 μM). Compound 3q presented the outstanding inhibitory activity μM), which was ∼1100 time that acarbose. revealed as reversible noncompetitive α-glucosidase inhibitor by mechanism assay. Different oleanolic acid (OA) oxime ester derivatives (3a-3t) were designed and synthesised to develop inhibitors against α-glucosidase α-amylase. All the OA evaluated α-amylase in vitro. Among them, compound 3a showed highest inhibition with an IC50 of 0.35 µM, which was ∼1900 times stronger than that acarbose, meanwhile 3f exhibited inhibitory 3.80 µM ∼26 higher acarbose. The kinetic studies mechanism compounds reversible mixed types towards α-amylase, respectively. Molecular docking...

Silibinin and capsaicin both are natural product molecules with diverse biological activities. In this article, we investigated the anti-inflammatory effects of silibinin combined in lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-induced RAW264.7 cells. The results showed that strongly inhibited LPS-induced nitric oxide (NO), tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α), Interleukin-6 (IL-6), COX-2. Moreover, potently nuclear factor-κB (NF-κB) mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) signaling pathways. present study indicate...

To characterize the aroma components of Sachima and provide insight into influence egg on flavor Sachima, key aroma-active compounds in four commercial Sachimas with different content, which named Premium, Classical, Whole egg, Egg yolk, were identified using GC-MS-O analysis, extract dilution analysis (AEDA) combined sensory evaluation. In total, 75 volatile by GC-MS, including 26 revealed having activities AEDA/GC-O. The major aldehydes heterocyclic compounds. OAV further significant...

Dihydroartemisinin (DHA) has recently attracted increasing attention for its low toxicity and high antitumor activity. DHA been reported to have synergistic anticancer effects with a variety of drugs in the clinic; however, molecular mechanism by which inhibits tumorigenesis improves oxaliplatin cytotoxicity colon cancer cells is still not well understood. In this study, we found that can inhibit cell proliferation colony formation dose-dependent manner. Prohibitin 2 (PHB2) potential target...

Yeast extract (YE) is rich in amino acids, nucleotides, peptides, and other flavor substances, a natural nutrient, umami, enhancer. However, certain YE samples impart yeasty that affects the quality parameters of YE. We compared solid-phase microextraction (SPME), solvent-assisted evaporation (SAFE), dynamic headspace sample preparation (DHS), stir bar sorptive extraction (SBSE), pretreatment methods for volatiles substances SPME was selected as suitable method, aroma dilution analysis...

Chromatographic fractionation of Sigesbeckia glabrescens led to the identification 10 new sesquiterpene lactones, named siegesbeckialides I–O (1–7) and glabrescones A–C (8–10), along with 14 known analogues. An anti-inflammatory activity assay showed that siegesbeckialide I (1) most potently inhibited LPS-induced NO production in RAW264.7 murine macrophages. Furthermore, suppressed protein expression iNOS COX2, as well release PGE2, IL-1β, IL-6, TNF-α LPS-stimulated cells. Mechanistically,...

PADI4 has extensive expression in many tumors. This study applied as a tumor marker to stimulate DC- (dendritic cell-) CIK (cytokine-induced killer), an immunotherapy approach. A plasmid was transfected into EC-originating ECA-109 cells. gene also inserted prokaryotic vector produce recombinant protein. Lysate from PADI4-overexpressing cells or the purified protein used load DCs, and were then coincubated with DC cell phenotypes determined using flow cytometry. The proliferation viability of...
