Rhodium-catalyzed C7-selective decarbonylative arylation, olefination, and methylation of indoles with carboxylic acids or anhydrides by C-H C-C bond activation have been developed. Furthermore, C7-acylation products can also be generated selectively at a lower reaction temperature in the developed system. The key to high reactivity regioselectivity this transformation is appropriate choice an indole N-PtBu2 chelation-assisted group. This method has many advantages, including easy access...

Although Alzheimer's disease (AD) is a central nervous system and type 2 diabetes MELLITUS (T2DM) metabolic disorder, an increasing number of genetic epidemiological studies show clear link between AD T2DM. The current approach to uncovering the shared pathways T2DM involves association analysis; however such analyses lack power discover mechanisms diseases. As alternative, we developed novel causal inference methods for pipelines systematic multi-omic casual analysis infer multilevel omics...

An efficient and concise approach for the synthesis of polysubstituted pyridines has been achieved through copper-catalyzed oxidative sp3 C–H coupling oxime acetates with toluene derivatives. Besides, benzylamine p-toluenesulfonylhydrazone were also introduced to react enrich diversity this synthetic method. These transformations provide highly flexible facile preparation substituted thus are useful in practical synthesis.

Although recent decades have witnessed the synthesis of 1,3,4-thiadiazoles via phosphorus POCl3-promoted cyclization reaction, simultaneous access to 2-amino-1,3,4-thiadiazole and 2-amino-1,3,4-oxadiazole analogs remains unexpected elusive. Herein, a detailed regiocontrolled 2-amino-1,3,4-thiadiazoles in good high yields with regioselectivities from readily available thiosemicarbazides using POCl3 was disclosed. Meantime, establish comprehensive structure–activity relationship, derivatives...

A practical and mild method for the switchable synthesis of sulfoxides or sulfones via selective oxidation sulfides using cheap N-fluorobenzenesulfonimide (NFSI) as oxidant has been developed. These highly chemoselective transformations were simply achieved by varying NFSI loading with H2O green solvent oxygen source without any additives. The good functional group tolerance makes strategy valuable.
