A copper-catalyzed four-component enantioselective arylsulfonylcyanation of vinylarenes has been developed that enables easy access to a variety chiral β-sulfonyl nitriles with up 95% yield and 96% ee. The reaction utilizes bench-stable SO2 surrogate (SOgen), takes place under mild conditions, exhibits good substrate scope functional group compatibility. Control experiments show the use SOgen as is key achieving excellent reactivities enantioselectivities. Preliminary mechanistic data...
Receptor for advanced glycation end products (RAGE) is implicated in inflammatory responses acute lung injury (ALI)/acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS), but its role pulmonary edema formation remains unclear, especially infection-related ARDS mainly caused by pneumonia or sepsis. In this study, we investigated the of RAGE alveolar fluid regulation using gene knockout mice a murine ALI model induced lipopolysaccharide (LPS), and comparing soluble (sRAGE) levels serum bronchial lavage...
Abstract As a novel kind of non‐coding RNA, circular RNAs (circRNAs) were involved in various biological processes. However, the role circRNAs developmental process chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is still unclear. In present study, by using cell model COPD primary human small airway epithelial cells (HSAECs) treated with or without cigarette smoke extract (CSE), we uncovered 4,379 previously unknown and 903 smoke‐specific circRNAs, help RNA‐sequencing bioinformatic analysis....
A metal- and base-free C(sp2)–H direct arylsulfonylation of secondary tertiary enamides with aryldiazonium salts ex situ generated SO2 (from SOgen) is presented. This method runs smoothly to produce β-amidovinyl sulfones excellent stereoselectivities in moderate yields. Moreover, this strategy features good functional group tolerance environmentally benign reaction conditions. Mechanistic experiments indicate that sulfonylation may proceed a radical pathway.
A metal- and base-free 5-endo-trig sulfonylative cyclization between 1,5-dienes, aryldiazonium salts SO2 (from SOgen) is presented. This method could successfully produce sulfonylated pyrrolin-2-ones in one pot with excellent regioselectivity good-to-excellent yields. strategy features mild reaction conditions broad substrate scope. Moreover, a scale-up three synthetic applications demonstrate the practicality of this method. Lastly, control experiments indicate that may proceed radical pathway.
Advanced glycation end products (AGEs) have been proposed to be involved in pulmonary fibrosis, but its role this process has not fully understood. To investigate the of AGE formation we used a bleomycin (BLM)-stimulated rat model treated with aminoguanidine (AG), crosslink inhibitor formation. Rats were intratracheally instilled BLM (5 mg/kg) and orally administered AG (40, 80, 120 once daily for two weeks. AGEs level lung tissue was determined by ELISA fibrosis evaluated Ashcroft score...
Abstract Acute lung injury (ALI) is a severe disease with sudden onset, rapid progression, poor treatment response, and high mortality. An increasing number of studies had found that circular RNAs (circRNAs) has significant functions in various diseases, while the role circRNAs ALI not yet clear. The purpose this study was to find related their mechanism action. Expression profiles messenger (mRNAs) were analyzed by microarray mice models healthy controlled mice. Differentially expressed...
The malignant behaviors of lung cancers are affected by not only cancer cells but also many kinds stromal in tumor microenvironment (TME), including macrophages. Macrophages have been proven to extensively influence progression through several mechanisms, among which switching macrophages from pro-inflammatory phenotypes (M1-like) anti-inflammatory (M2-like) mediated transcription factors such as nuclear factor κB (NF-κB) is the most crucial event. regulation NF-κB has well studied, however...
The -308G/A polymorphism in the gene encoding tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) has been implicated sepsis risk many studies but with variable results. This study aimed to comprehensively assess evidence of association between this and sepsis-related mortality.PubMed, EMBASE other databases were searched identify relevant studies, data analyzed using Review Manager 5.0 STATA 12.0.Data from 34 publications involving 12,284 subjects meta-analyzed. Combined analysis revealed an TNF-α (AA+GA vs....
Circular RNA (circRNA) is a non-coding molecule that lacks polyadenylated tails and highly stable, abundant, conserved in human cells. CircRNAs can serve as competing endogenous (ceRNA) to sponge microRNAs (miRNA) block their effects on target mRNA expression. also have possible relevance cancer therefore may be considered ideal biomarkers for monitoring progression. Of the about 300,000 predicted circRNAs, only few validated biological functions related cancer. To better understand ceRNA...
Azoospermia is a significant reproductive challenge. Differentiating between non-obstructive azoospermia (NOA) and obstructive (OA) crucial as each type requires distinct management strategies. Testicular microcirculation plays profound role in spermatogenic functions. However, current diagnostic methods are limited their ability to effectively elucidate this connection.
