Abstract Artificial intelligence can potentially provide a substantial role in streamlining chest computed tomography (CT) diagnosis of COVID-19 patients. However, several critical hurdles have impeded the development robust AI model, which include deficiency, isolation, and heterogeneity CT data generated from diverse institutions. These bring about lack generalization model therefore prevent it applications clinical practices. To overcome this, we proposed federated learning-based Unified...
Abstract Rationale: Primary breast angiosarcoma (PBA) is a rare and overly aggressive entity account for less than 1% of all cancer cases. PBA had high rate delayed preoperative diagnosis due to absent distinctive radiographic characteristics. Patient concerns: We report case 47-year-old female patient who previous history luminal in the right with mastectomy; complained asymmetrically diffuse enlarged, accompanying painless mass left 12 years after mastectomy her breast. Diagnoses: The...
<title>Abstract</title> Thoracic endovascular aortic repair (TEVAR) remains the treatment of choice for Stanford type B dissection (TBAD). In this study, we apply a novel machine learning-based (ML-based) digital twin (DT) method to study relationship between preoperative indicators, inflammation markers, endoleaks (EL) and long-term outcome patients who received TEVAR. Our result shows that most postoperative indicators are closely related their indicators. We also find height onset time...
Abstract Abdominal aortic aneurysms (AAAs) are a degenerative disease and associated with hallmarks of aging, such as mitophagy. Despite this, the exact associations among mitophagy, AAA progression remain unknown. In our study, gene expression analysis human tissue revealed downregulation mitophagy pathways, mitochondrial structure, function-related proteins. Human proteomic analyses identified decreased levels mediators PINK1 Parkin. Aged mice and, separately, murine model showed reduced...
Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) has become a global pandemic, while the profile of antibody response against COVID-19 virus not been well clarified. In this study, 210 serum samples from 160 confirmed cases with different severities were recruited. The IgM, IgA, IgG, and neutralizing antibodies (NAb) determined. Our findings indicated that four could be detectable at low levels within 2 weeks onset, then rapidly increasing peaking 3rd to 5th Weeks. NAb decreased between 9th Weeks, higher...
